I started building an IVF tracker because I was overwhelmed tracking meds, appointments and results across different apps and spreadsheets 😅 I just wanted something simple in one place that didn’t feel stressful didn’t expect it to turn into a real app hatchitracker.com

Had a dream that the people testing my app were finding all these issues 🫣 When I woke up it was all nice things and helpful feedback 🥰 it's so exciting seeing closed testing moving on!

Building an app as a hobby project is a different mindset to building an app for work. I have nothing on tomorrow so I'm thinking "maybe I'll relax tomorrow and not work on Hatchi" when in reality I know I'll be coding 😂 Coding for work, having to please others...🫠

Building medication reminders for an IVF app has been way harder than I expected 😅 Timing, multiple meds, notifications... lots of edge cases But it’s starting to feel really useful already

@eliana_jordan That's what's stopping me from making the push to iOS 😂 if I can get that much on android then sure!

New job is going well! Information overload but I'm slowly getting there. They've got me doing sql queries to start with, I'm pretty okay with the basics does anyone recommend an online tool or small course to help improve the skills? Keep them fresh etc. #GirlsWhoCode

@rachenest From my recent experience with a junior; Don't try and learn/do everything at once. It's ok to take your time. Don't be afraid to ask questions, but show you've considered the problem first. Uhh probably more. Have fun! Hope thats helpful? 😀 good luck
