I met this guy, also called Mark Watson, years ago at a show. He'd had a heart transplant; there were many other complications. We stayed in DM contact as he battled the unthinkable. His having my name reminded me what a lottery health is. Make the most of it while it's there. x

@cns_school Such sad news. He taught my daughter for 5 years, she loved the French trip & passed gcse last year. Son had just started with him. Read his report this week, his grade’s improved. He said coz he wanted to impress Mr Stone, so worked hard. That’s what you want from a teacher.

I am not okay. As an immune suppressed double lung transplant recipient for whom the vaccine doesn’t work, yesterday and today’s news is a living nightmare. Where is the care for the mental health and freedoms of immune suppressed population?

Don’t walk home but don’t get a taxi and don’t use public transportation. Don’t refuse to go out with men because they deserve a chance and don’t leave early but don’t go home alone after dark and don’t carry protection because that’s offensive but why didn’t you defend yourself.
