Global bond yield surge this week more than entirely reversed as weak US jobs numbers bolster expectations of further rate cuts by US Federal Reserve.
Eg UK 30 year gilt yield, which reached a 27 year record of 5.75%, is now 5.52%, having started week at 5.62%.

The randomised controlled trial gave 4,000 calories of minimally processed food to one group and 4,000 calories of ultra-processed food to the other group. They could eat as much as they wanted. Both diets were in line with the Eatwell Guide.

Three years ago Reeves described a 0.1% fall in Monthly GDP a ‘dramatic drop’ and demanded the then Chancellor come up with an Emergency Budget. Of course that was all nonsense, as it would be now if anybody repeated it. But we should not forget the nonsense she spouted in opposition, for which she is far more suited than government. Nor that she and Starmer continue to spout economic drivel with claims they’ve ’fixed the foundations’.

The Ukrainian Air Force claimed “355 Shahid attack UAVs AND simulator drones of various types” were used in the attack, meaning this figure was comprised of a mixture of Shahid drones AND decoy drones.

This updated chart includes last night's drone attacks, by wide margin the largest in this war. Altogether, 355 Shahed-type drones were used. Ukraine claimed to have intercepted (kinetic and non-kientic means) 288 drones.

@PeterSweden7 If ice has grown, the sea levels should actually rise. Ice takes up more space than water does because it EXPANDS as it freezes. This was always the issue I had with the rising sea levels notion in the first place -- if we lost all the ice, the sea levels should lower, not rise.
