@NoelMooney13 @Cymru @FAWales Hey Noel - what about a 4G pitch for @LlandrindodAFC ??? So much community involvement, lots of junior teams and nowhere for them all to play. Come on! You can do this!

@LlandrindodAFC Have a great summer everyone and see you all in July!! 💙🤍💙🤍

@LlandrindodAFC Huge thanks as always to Gaz, Tom, Kevin, the committee, Cori and those who coach the youngsters, and all the other people behind the scenes, without whom the club wouldn’t exist. Their efforts make the club such an important part of the local community. 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻

@LlandrindodAFC Another tough game at the end of a bruising season. But despite injuries and other setbacks the boys have persevered & gave everything right to the final minute of the season. I hope the squad sticks together & maybe with some strengthening we can really compete next season.

@LlandrindodAFC As with all season, you just can’t fault the lads effort and desire. It will be a tough ask to get something, but I want to see that commitment again right up until the final whistle next Saturday. Let’s hold our heads up and go again one last time… 💙🤍💙🤍👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻

@NickEva26412354 @LlandrindodAFC Yes, I remember it well. Mind you, I don’t ever remember Robbo running over to enjoy the moment with us. Well done Jack!!! 😊💙🤍

@LlandrindodAFC 50 years ago my bro and I were part of group of young fans who reacted just like this when we scored a goal. It was great on Saturday to hear those kids getting behind the team. Well done lads, and well done Jack for running over to them so they could enjoy the moment even more!
English

@LlandrindodAFC Just a short clip illustrating so much of our season: solid defence, good distribution from James, tidy link-ups in midfield with Stu supporting well, and just the finish in front of goal being the missing piece…
English

@LlandrindodAFC Great win to end our home season! Despite the heat we never flagged and just when it seemed that it wasn’t to be (yet again) up stepped Jack with a piece of his magic. So glad for the boys that we could end on a high. Let’s see what we can get from the last two games now!! 💙🤍👏🏻
English

@LlandrindodAFC Let’s go out in style lads!! We’ll be there to urge you on 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻💙🤍
English

@LlandrindodAFC So sorry to miss this one. By brother gave me the full report and said that everyone put in a huge shift. So proud of you all. Keep going right to the end lads!!! 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👊🏻💙🤍

@LlandrindodAFC It must be so hard to travel all that way, put in a massive battling performance and get kicked in the teeth right at the death. But we get up and keep coming back strong!! Stick together, keep fighting and your supporters will be there with you all the way lads. 💙🤍

Today marks a significant moment in the evolution of Newport City Football Club.
At the end of this season, after 376 appearances and over a decade of unwavering commitment, Sam Houldsworth will transition into the role of Director of Football as part of the club’s ongoing restructure.
𝙎𝙖𝙢’𝙨 𝙘𝙤𝙣𝙩𝙧𝙞𝙗𝙪𝙩𝙞𝙤𝙣 𝙩𝙤 𝙩𝙝𝙞𝙨 𝙛𝙤𝙤𝙩𝙗𝙖𝙡𝙡 𝙘𝙡𝙪𝙗 𝙘𝙖𝙣𝙣𝙤𝙩 𝙗𝙚 𝙤𝙫𝙚𝙧𝙨𝙩𝙖𝙩𝙚𝙙.
In the early days—when stability was far from guaranteed—it was individuals like Sam who carried the club forward. Through consistency, leadership, and relentless commitment, he has helped build the foundations that Newport City stands on today.

The dedication and sacrifice—by Sam and his family—over the last 10 years are not lost on this club. That level of commitment is rare in the modern game, and it is a standard that will continue to define what Newport City represents.
Sam is, and always will be, “𝙈𝙧 𝙉𝙚𝙬𝙥𝙤𝙧𝙩 𝘾𝙞𝙩𝙮.”
This transition is not a step away—it is a step forward.
As Director of Football, Sam will play a central role in shaping the next phase of the club—defining standards, building identity, and delivering a clear football structure from development through to the first team.
Sam’s role within the wider Newport football landscape—particularly his work within the professional game—places him in a unique position to help shape and influence the football ecosystem across South East Wales.
That insight, connection, and experience will be instrumental in ensuring Newport City is not only part of that system, but positioned to compete, develop, and progress within it.
Thank you 𝙂𝙖𝙛𝙛𝙚𝙧 🫶🩵🤍
