Still love the tab function so much though. I don’t think I will ever code without it again.

The project I am working on has gotten pretty large. I’ve found that the larger the code base has become the less helpful cursor agent has been. It still helpful, but it requires more back and forth and produces more errors.

Windsurf has been a bit disappointing. I feel like Cascade tries to make too much progress without checking in. Cursor agent does a better job knowing when to ask me how to proceed. Also, the tab function in windsurf doesn’t guess my next move quite as well.

It has been so cool to try out all of the new AI tools. Cursor is my favorite. I think Claude 3.7 is my favorite model to use, but I need to test more. Another game changing tool has been v0. It makes creating an MVP so easy.

Cursor agent mode feels like magic. I haven’t done much peer programming, but it’s what I imagine coding with a very knowledgeable partner would be like. Sometimes I feel like the guy who does nothing on the group project and still gets an A.
