@heykelechi Black women’s main priority should ONLY be ourselves. When it comes to the love we want to receive and from who we want to receive it from, pick selfishly. We don’t owe nobody SHIT

So the Chinese thought they could go to Jamaica build a resort on the beach and tell the locals they aren’t allowed on the beach… so the locals burned that SH!T to the ground…. As they should.. that’s how you deal with colonizers. Proud of them

Charlamagne tha God reacts to Drake breaking Michael Jackson's Billboard record, saying a lot of Drake's music doesn't have the same "cultural impact" as Michael Jackson's: "This is why I say numbers lie. 'Cause does Drake have the numbers? Yes. Does Drake have music that will stand the test of time? Yes. But, we know that a lot of the music that Drake makes does not have the cultural impact of an 'Off the Wall' or a 'Thriller.'" (Via The Breakfast Club)

I don't know who is crazier, Drake for thinking he is better than Michael Jackson or his fans for believing it.

In an interview, Miley Cyrus said, "My stepdad asked me the other day, 'Why are you the only one without a makeup line?' I was like, 'Cause that's not my passion.' He goes, 'That's the right answer.' And it made so much sense. It's like, 'I don't have a makeup line because I'm not a makeup artist.'" "I feel that way about motherhood. It's just never been something that I've been overly passionate about," she continued. "It's a lot of responsibility and devotion and energy, and if you're not passionate about that, I don't know how you do sleepless nights and 18 years of what my mom dealt with," she added. We're glad that Miley Cyrus is speaking openly about the choice not to become a mother. Parenthood is a decision-not an obligation society should impose. Still, almost never a male celebrity gets asked why he doesn't have kids. less

Mind you @paintedbyesthr goes viral every year for her blush work on Ayra Starr, Anok Yai, Kelly Rowland, Sza, Tyla, Chloe Bailey, and many more. Many makeup artist have tried to replicate her techniques and failed because her techniques are unique to her. Patrick Ta did just that too and no matter how well the product works, you can’t and will never be Painted By Esther.

Naomi Osaka on why she chose to host a party for the black tennis players: “You know I'm seeing a little bit of- ‘Why can't you love everyone for all skin tones?’ and ‘what if someone had an all white party?! First of all I do love everyone for who they are no matter their race + ethnicity, (I'm literally half Japanese lol). I can only speak from my experiences in my own life though, growing up as a tennis player I didn't see many people that looked like ME and I feel like it's important to celebrate them. Secondly I feel like it's important to note that there have been all white dinners/parties. I don't know how else to tell you this, I literally seen them all the time and never had an issue with it at all. To the people who ask this question I want to ask you this question too, ‘What is it about POC getting together that unsettles you so much?’ I want to end this by saying I grew up watching my dad get discriminated against, having the cops called on him multiple times at the tennis court. There are multiple things I will apologize for in my life but celebrating being black and appreciating who we are will never be something I would consider saying sorry for. Thanks. Actually I lied, I am sorry. I'm sorry for the people who cannot comprehend in their brains that this is not about exclusion, this is a celebration about how far we have come 🖤” (via Naomi on Threads)
