Biased, hallucinating & megalomaniac category accused/ litigant asking for recusal of the judge effectively amounts to bench hunting & polluting the administration of justice.

That 'kaisa haraya' jibe rubbed many people in the wrong way. I despise Jitendra Awhad but he is a shrewd politician. He must have known that her caste certificate is not genuine.

Now that the application has been decided, I wonder whether, if there had been no live telecast of the courtroom, Arvind Kejriwal would still have chosen to argue in person before the Delhi High Court on the recusal application.

High Courts must also start granting Senior Designation to deserving trial court advocates. Talent & excellence aren’t limited to appellate courts. Advocates who excel at the trial level — handling complex evidence, cross-examinations & building strong records — deserve recognition too. It is my observation that after they established a separate Bench of the Bom HC at Kolhapur, some designated Senior Advocates of Bom HC have started coming down to Pune to conduct matters. Saw 4 Seniors in the past 2 weeks arguing before the District & Sessions Courts, Pune.

Court: If this court by penning recusal judgment gives an impression that it can be intermediated by a litigant, a recusal would lead the public to believe that judges are aligned to a political party.

Women are built different. No amount of social media campaign and optics can override the courage and clarity of a woman who has spent 34 years of her life in a male-dominated institution. In the language of social media, this is called proper belt treatment. Exceptional!

Recently I saw a reel of someone I know on Instagram about how they celebrated Ambedkar Jayanti. They did everything exactly that Hindus do on any festival. The only change was they replaced the idols of gods & goddesses with photos of Ambedkar.

My takeaway watching Piyush Bansal and Namita Thapar is that calm composure scales better than reacting in the moment. Cortisol tolerance matters more. It also highlights the difference between those who build from scratch and those who step into something already built.

I’ve been binge-watching podcasts from Monks & Warriors all week while working. Most of the guests are decorated, retired officers - many of whom served in Kashmir during the ’90s. What struck me is how consistently they say, “that night was just our lucky day,” or “Mahadev protected us,” or “Maa Kali was watching over us.” These are men who’ve seen the harshest realities -bloodshed, fear, losing brothers in their arms - yet they carry a deep humility, often crediting something beyond themselves rather than claiming personal glory. And then, on the other hand, we have some delusional people who have never achieved anything other than pointing fingers at others, claiming we don’t believe in God. Thank you, Monks & Warriors. Househelp has two kids going to primary school. Since it's vacation time, a summer school has been opened right inside her working class locality. It is free!! My mother had warned her that it sounds suspicious. So the help checked with the kids after a couple of days what was being taught. Yea, they are being taught about the glory of Jesus and why they should pray to him. She stopped immediately but the children are throwing tantrums to go back because the place also provides free snacks. Outright criminal behavior not to tell the parents that it is a christan summer school. How do these people convince themselves that it is moral to evangelise 10 year old kids without consent of the parents? This is Bengaluru BTW.

Not exactly a conspiracy but this man is a master at creating opportunities. The ones interested can try to find out how he was given punishment posting to Delhi in the form of promotion to keep him away from Gujarat Politics & how he used that all to come in as Gujarat CM.
