VIDEO | Patna: On PM Modi's recent austerity appeals, BJP leader Shahnawaz Hussain (@ShahnawazBJP) says, "After the Prime Minister's appeal, we all accepted it, and today I am also travelling in an EV vehicle. Only one security vehicle is accompanying me. The Prime Minister is our ideal, and we follow what he does. Personally, I believe there should be no compromise on the Prime Minister's security, because he represents the nation's pride and his security is very important. However, security has been reduced here in Bihar as well as in other places. The Governor of Gujarat said that he would travel by bus and train. This will reflect simplicity and will also benefit the country." (Full video available on PTI Videos - ptivideos.com)

What has pissed me off the most; the consecutive massive mandates that people of this country gave Mr. Narendra Modi, he could have done something massive, something spectacular for people, instead, he squandered it by chasing personal glory, regressive garbage sub-ideologies, making his 'friends' happy and now, he has destroyed our economy. There was a time when India, irrespective of what economical upheavals ravaged the outside world, was safe. Our people were growing at a steady, organic rate; that cushioning has been wiped out now. I am quite confident that the last two days of fear-mongering will turn around and bite Modi Government where it hurts them the most... electoral losses. People will remember this. They defenitely will. I am betting on it.

Yeah yeah, cool. Lemme know when Amit Shah picks up Nitin Gadkari on his way to office. Then I'll be impressed.

Welcome back @theskindoctor13. The question is who paid whom to carry out this intimidatory arrest?

People only talk about “Make in India.” Very few take the risk to actually build it. @ivishaltejwani was one of the first people we met on X. We saw his fire. So we went all the way to Kalyan to see his Placestation machine. And we placed an order immediately. Without: - a deep costing study - proof it would work at scale - any guarantee it was right for us We just believed in Vishal. He said: “I can do it.” So we backed him and gave him space to build. And today, I’m happy to announce: 5000 pcs production of PCBs has started. We may never need to import PCBs for our rechargeable fans again. A big piece of the puzzle is now Swadeshified 🇮🇳 And the best part? It works out cheaper than importing from China. Next steps: -Keep scaling up -Indianise PCBs for our choppers and massagers. TOPSAIL PCB. Made in Bharat🇮🇳 What a feeling.🥰

Indian currency has fallen 11% against Pakistani currency, who are our biggest enemy, 12% against Bangladesh’s currency, whom we consider useless & dumb, and 13% against Sri Lankan currency, which went through an economic collapse just a few years ago. India is truly on the path to becoming a superpower in 2047, except that other countries will become superpowers by 2035 itself. If it were a global issue, the currencies of all other countries would have struggled, but only India is struggling. This is not a global issue, but a shameful act of keeping incompetent bureaucrats in the ministry. I feel really sad seeing my mother country India being destroyed in front of my eyes while I can do nothing to save it 🥹

PM @narendramodi ji setting an example for all netas, cuts down his convoy to just 2 cars Originally, the PM’s convoy comprised 12 vehicles:armoured cars, escort vehicles, jammer units, decoy cars etc But I think PM shouldn’t do this & take such a risk

India is desperate for stable foreign capital. INR is in a virtual free fall. Yet, there is an *absurd* bottleneck nobody talks about: the RBI’s FIRMS portal — mandatory for FC-GPR filings and therefore for receiving FDI share capital — has been down for weeks. As a result, inward remittances for legitimate equity investments into Indian companies are getting stuck because founders literally cannot complete regulatory filings. At a moment when the country needs every dollar of productive FDI it can attract, this is exactly the kind of invisible bureaucratic friction India should not be imposing on itself. @RBI @RBIsays @NITIAyog @nsitharaman

PM needs to stop virtue signalling. Convoys and security protocols and arrangements should be based on threat perception. PM and HM are in high risk and shouldn’t compromise on security. All other ministers can make do with even one vehicle. State ministers and babus should not get more than one vehicle. These people should not travel with an army of attendants and hanger ons. Put an end to that even if there was no austerity.

Why can’t this be done during good times? If it’s not necessary, then why have a hundred cars surrounding you? That’s the bigger question!

🚨 HUGE! Modi Govt planning major new Gold Monetisation push 😳 — Citizens may soon be able to deposit gold in banks & earn interest. If even 2,000 Tonnes gold gets deposited, India will not have to IMPORT GOLD for next 3 years🤯 Key points: - Banks may accept deposits from as low as 10 grams - Aim: Cut India’s heavy gold imports (currently over 700 tonnes/year) •Indian households hold an estimated 30,000 tonnes of gold Deposited gold will be made available to jewellers & manufacturers 🎯 Smart step to unlock national wealth and reduce import dependence! 🔥🇮🇳 (Source: Dainik Jagran)

I am willing to lay the opposite bet. I was with the 3 foreign tourists recently in India for a few days. When you look at it from the lens of F2 tourists, barring Taj Mahal & Rajasthan Palace Hotels, there is nothing else that they want to see here with they cannot get anywhere else. ( And of course the approach to the Taj ,less said the better) International cards don't work in many many places. They don't want to carry a lot of cash around because of safety. The dirt, squalor ( just outside beautiful Deer park in Delhi, there is a dump truck permanently parked and never cleaned. Non existent roads and payments in most parts Terrible driving ethics whether it is on red light or coming the same way in a one way road whether it is within the city or on highways People who are not cultured or polite or even with basic manners of holding doors open or saying thank you Eg, Goa could have been our Bali , Phuket. But for that we need a swinging liberal culture not moral policing. And yes we need garbage free roads. Out of the 90 lakh tourists every year that come, I am counted a minimum of 20 times because I visit India that many times per year. NRIs are probably 40- 50% of that number. Genuine F2s, F2- esses are probably half. Other countries have not stood still and they have executed. People want amazing places to spend money on. Bali has 80 lakh tourists. Happening night life. Super cheap. Phuket too. Vietnam. Here we only talk and that's where it ends. But yes, this opportunity is a permanent past , present and future opportunity

We must take PM @narendramodi appeal seriously and cut down on petroleum products even if our infrastructure isn’t enough. But @PMOIndia should direct all the PSUs to withdraw their cars and personnel placed at the disposal of various Union Ministers and secretaries for their personal staff. They run into hundreds. Even Chief Minsters convoy has more cars following them than the number of departments in a state.
