Sourav Ganguly is always seen standing with the side that holds power. When the Left government was in power in Bengal, he was close to and supportive of the Left. When TMC came to power in Bengal, Sourav Ganguly built good connections with TMC as well. And now, as soon as BJP won in Bengal, Sourav Ganguly immediately met BJP leaders. On the other hand, Ashoke Dinda joined BJP in 2021, won the election, and spent 5 years in opposition despite the TMC government being in power. He never compromised and continued to stand firmly against TMC. Dinda was attacked by TMC goons, he got injured, but even then he never bowed down before TMC. If he wanted, Dinda could also have joined TMC and lived an easy life, but he chose struggle instead. That is why Ashoke Dinda deserves immense respect and appreciation.
