@blind_via caught me. planning on JLC-ing these, all models, footprints, and symbols have been imported using easyeda2kicad because I cannot afford a PCB librarian for my after-work projects. I usually modify the symbols because EasyEda has terrible defaults

this looks like a cross-platform import water mark. it would appear this library object or 3d model originated from another library. I have encountered other evidence of this with parts imported from Altium with problems. clearance over rides causing problems, and they didn't belong.

What if I became *kicad-render-as-banner-pic* guy.... I wont but like what if yk?

@blind_via In this project I have copy pasted hierarchical sheets that I'm able to push to multichannel 'layout areas' from one example area

Mainboard PCB for the DaVInci Jr 3d printer, different motor controllers altogether (this one was a bed slinger). Completely different layout. Same Atmel. Good to see family history of their developers.
