It’s very interesting how today’s ZDF poll in Germany shows that 72% of Germans consider the AfD a danger to democracy, which almost perfectly matches the party’s current polling at around 26%. In theory, this could suggest that the AfD is already close to its electoral ceiling.
I don’t usually analyse these kinds of things too much, since a party’s ceiling or electoral potential is always variable, but it’s still a significant figure.
