One thing that’s phenomenal about London is how beautifully it has kept its river at the heart of the city not as a boundary, but as a source of life, identity, and connection. A young, vibrant city built around its water. This should be a great lesson for us. Yes, history and colonial legacy shaped many realities, but several post-colonial nations have also transformed their cities through vision, planning, and determination. Dhaka can do it too. We must save the Buriganga, bring our rivers back to life, and build a city that is not only bigger but more human, more liveable, and more inspiring for the future.

এ ধরনের লোক দিয়ে আপনাদের দল ভরে আছে। প্রায় প্রতিদিনই দেখি ছাত্রদল যুবদল কিংবা বিএনপির কোনো না কোনো নেতা-কর্মী নারী নির্যাতন বা ধর্ষণের অভিযোগে ধরা পড়ছে।কিন্তু দল থেকে বহিষ্কার করা ছাড়া তাদের বিরুদ্ধে কোনো কঠোর পদক্ষেপ নিতে দেখি না।অন্যদিকে জামায়াত বা শিবিরের কারও বিরুদ্ধে মাসে বা বছরে একবারও এমন কোনো ঘটনা ঘটলে বিএনপির লোকজন সারা দেশে মিছিল-মিটিং করে বেড়ায়।এভাবে বেছে বেছে প্রতিবাদ করে নিজেদের ভণ্ডামি প্রকাশ করবেন না।

@AdityaRajKaul The fact that minority Hindus in Bangladesh are able to hold such a large protest on the streets proves that Bangladesh is a safe country for minorities. On the other hand, Muslims in India will not get permission from the government to hold such a protest.
