The reply section on X is where reputations are made and buried. Same platform. Same post. Two completely different choices. One person replies with insight and gets 200 profile visits. Another replies with insults and gets ratio’d into embarrassment. Good replies do three things. They show you understood the post. They add something the original missed. They leave the reader wanting to know who you are. Bad replies do one thing. They remind everyone in the thread that keyboard courage is not the same as actual intelligence. Before you hit reply ask yourself one question. Does this make me look like someone worth following. If the answer is no. Close the keyboard and protect your reputation.

Your real fans are the small group who show up every single time. Build for them. The rest are just furniture.
