Just experienced a flawless customer support process from @RainBirdCorp, a leading supplier of irrigation products. Had attempted to activate a wi-fi I just added to a new irrigation controller. Messed around 1 1/2 hours trying to complete the installation. Spent 30 fruitless minutes on YouTube videos that were no help. All of this in an attempt to avoid the usual 30 minute+ hold for telephone customer support. What a pleasant surprise when the Tech answered on the first ring. In 8 minutes he had led me through a successful installation and my wi-fi app connection was up and running. In a world of typically less than satisfactory customer support today's call was a stunningly welcome experience. @RainBirdCorp really delivered! #RainBirdCorp

@RainBirdCorp Can someone help me connect these two pieces. The threads are not the same on the timer valve but the line hose adapter is from RainBird. What piece/connector am I missing? Thanks

@ScottAllen6909 @ScottAllen6909 Unfortunately, new valves differ from the discontinued ones, so replacing just the internal components might not ensure proper functioning. You'd need to replace the entire valve to guarantee it works correctly.

@RainBirdCorp If I buy a new CP valve assembly, can I reuse the old valve base that is installed in my sprinkler, and just replace the “inside guts” of the old valve, with the new Valve parts? That will save me a lot of time because I don’t have to dig up. They replace the old valve.

@RainBirdCorp My sprinkler valves use the old “ribbed” style solenoids from the 90’s. How can I replace the bad solenoid without having to dig up and replace the entire valve? Do you make an adapter so I can use your new solenoids? Thanks.
