@rainbow_snail3 I have not seen any posts from you?
Are you still on twitter? I have a code for bluesky. I just started posting over there. Let me know if you want it?
@rainbow_snail3 I am worried about you. No posts for about 2 months. I hope you quit twitter and you are ok? My worry is you are not posting because you physically cannot?
@SassyMetisChick I’m supposed to wear waist high compression stockings, which feel a lot like shapewear. I despise those hot, sausage casing prisons. No way I’m wearing anything like that for fun or vanity lol.
As someone who used to work in the fashion industry (from retail, to modeling, to working in a fashion/design house) you do NOT need shapewear. If you want it & love it, that’s great, but no one needs it to look fabulous. Ppl often say fashion is pain, but it doesn’t have to be
@DanWuori Remembering my 3yo helping me put away groceries. He knew what paper towels were and he recognized the toilet paper but didn't now what to call them so he grabbed them and said, "I'll put away the potty towels!"
Piaget bonus clip!
Yesterday I wrote about Jean Piaget (the father of constructivism) and shared an example of a child building on his existing knowledge to make sense of an object he’d not yet encountered in life. (An anti-theft tag attached to a shoe, which he mistook for a battery charger.)
Here’s a wonderful supplemental example. This sweet little one has never seen a car cover - and thus mistakes it for the world’s most pointless disguise. 😀
What a fantastic analysis!
(Assuming her adults didn’t leave her in the dark as to the cover’s actual purpose, she’ll be making mental accommodations to take this new discovery into account - and experience things differently next time.)
We all build knowledge as we go! 🧠

Husband was late coming home from work. I figured he’d have a good story since that’s out of character for him.
Dude tried a hill he shouldn’t have and landed in a cactus patch 🌵😅🤦♀️😂
@rainbow_snail3 Didn't see them in Montana or North Dakota or Minnesota. I am surprised you have lots in Alberta?
I recently learned that Italy imported prickly pears and now grows them as crops. They now export them for people to eat. I saw an Italian Prickly Pear soda and googled it...
@rainbow_snail3 I thought that hurts. Then I remembered a large catcus patch near me. Then, I thought, wait a minute, she lives in Canada. I didn't know there were catcus patches in Alberta? I imagined prickly pears. What type of catcus did he land in?
Ordered a new pillow that is supposed to help me hopefully not wake up with headaches. I’m so tired of waking up in pain over and over all night. Fingers crossed this actually works🤞🏽
I don’t need advice.
I’ve had migraines since I was 7 years old.
Yes, I’ve tried all the meds
@StrudelBrand She was so sweet with her big brown eyes. She was an attentive “mom” to my kids, especially when they were babies. I didn’t need a monitor, I had Molly. She heard the second they stirred and would come find me and bring me back to the nursery. God this hurts.
I said good bye to my sweet girl, Molly today as she crossed the rainbow bridge. I will miss her very, very much and my house and my heart feel so empty without her.
