Everybody been asking… what’s next?
Well, the wait is OVER.
First and foremost, ALL glory to God. Every step, every lesson, every closed door and open one… He ordered it all. I’m walking in His plan, not mine.
I want to thank the entire Wayland Baptist @WBUFBRecruit coaching staff for believing in me, giving me an opportunity, and welcoming me into the family. This is bigger than football, this is purpose.

#AGTG in the Highest! I’m beyond grateful for every message, call, DM, and opportunity that’s come my way. I don’t take any of it lightly. To every Coach and Recruiter who has reviewed my film, spoken my name in rooms I haven’t sat in yet, and shown interest in me as a player and a young man thank you.
God didn’t have to open these doors, but He did. I’m humbled, I’m working, and I’m praying for wisdom as I evaluate each opportunity to make the right decision for my future on and off the field.

If I want to be coached by a great coach, then I must become a great student first. I’m finding out on this path that the better I coach myself to do what is right, hold my head up, look another man in the eye, give a firm handshake, and work hard the better I receive coaching and correction. Something is shifting in me at 18. I’m realizing time moves fast, and those choices stack up quick. A year ago it felt like my teens would last forever. Now I’m stepping into young manhood and learning what that really takes.
So I’m asking myself what would happen if I choose now to reset and lock in even more? What doors would that open? What else could God do with a more disciplined, better, consistent version of me? He’s already shown me grace. What would He do if I simply listen and obeyed?
Come on bro… I’m about to find out.

@COACH_HIMEY Amen that’s why I make both of my kids practice creative writing, social cues and study the psychology and art of communicating. And I always say you will never gain a muscle if I lift weights for you 🙅🏾♀️ That’s what my mom made me do on college rule paper 🤣

Advice for parents:
🛑STOP🛑 POSTING FOR YOUR KIDS…OR AS YOUR KIDS!
Coaches know it’s you and it will get your kids taken off the recruiting board.
Help guide them but they are the ones that will have to do it themselves. You CANT go to college for them. Let them earn it!

Grateful for the opportunity to visit Howard Payne University @HPUFootball .
Here are 5 things I learned that really impressed me on my visit:
🏈 The coaching staff is intentional about development on and off the field not just as a football player, but the whole man and his mentality.
🏈 There is a real opportunity to compete and earn playing time.

🏈 Faith, character, and leadership are genuinely valued at a high level.
🏈 The campus and facilities create an environment to stay focused and grow in every aspect of your life.

Today was special. Watching my brothers commit and take the next step in their journey was nothing but love. I’m genuinely proud of every teammate past and present who earned that moment. Seeing your hard work pay off made it easy to smile and cheer you on.
As for me, my journey isn’t finished yet. I’m still uncommitted, still working, still trusting the process. I know my time is coming, and until then I’ll keep showing up, staying ready, and supporting my brothers every step of the way. Love y’all forever. This brotherhood is bigger than any offer.

So grateful for this season and everything it produced on and off the field. Thank you to my coaches who believed, my teammates who fought beside me, my family who sacrificed, and every person who prayed, pushed, and poured into me when no one was watching. Being recognized as a First Team All District Safety, UIL State Semifinalist, and Varsity Athletic Award recipient is an honor I do not take lightly.

This season tested me bruh. But the moments I could’ve bailed, I chose to ball with my brothers to the end💪🏽
Adversity became my motivation. It made me more disciplined, I grew as a person on and off the field.
Through it all, I leaned on God the real MVP, and my mom and dad continue to stay on me about putting Him first.
But shoutout to the ones who believed in me, especially you Coach @ChaseHargis you a real one, thanks for never giving up, even when the odds were stacked. Aye, I gotta make it count.
Lessons learned. Work done. Next play locked in.
