ITR Changes! In existing ITR Forms, in case the return is filed by a representative assessee, the ITR form seeks details of such representative assessee's name, capacity, address, and PAN/Aadhaar. In the new ITR forms, this reporting requirement has been modified. Now, the ITR forms seek only the following three details if the representative assessee files the return: (a) Name of representative assessee; (b) Email ID of the representative assessee; and (c) Contact number of the representative assessee.

An HNI came over to get a net worth certification, had to submit it to his brokerage company (Upstox). His net worth turned out to be 11.4 crores. I quoted 1 Lakh as my fees, he asked for some discount and happily paid Rs.85,000. Yes, such clients exist too 🙌 #incometax

@raj2020unique Hi Raj, A member or coparcener can gift shares to HUF. Such gifts are tax-exempt u/s 56(2)(x) as from "relatives", no limit is applicable. Clubbing provisions applies in certain cases. For gains calculation, use donor's original cost + holding period, not gift value.

@TaxBuddy1 Can member or coparcener gift their shares to huf? What are incometax implications for both. Will there be any clubbing provision? Any limit? I believe shares profit calculation is done with its actual buyer price of original owner before gifting but when its gifted gift price ?
