처음엔 죽을 만큼 안 되던 게 어느 순간 숨 쉬듯 자연스러워지는 진짜 이유..
단순히 '익숙해져서'가 아니라 뇌 신경망 자체가 물리적으로 재건축된 거임.
이게 진짜 무서우면서도 다행인 게 뭐냐면.. 매일 우울하고 자조적인 생각만 반복하면 뇌가 그쪽으로 고속도로를 뻥 뚫어버린다. 반대로 아주 작은 성취나 좋은 루틴을 억지로라도 반복하면, 결국 그게 내 뇌의 '기본값'으로 세팅되는 거고.
지금 당장 내가 안 변하는 것 같고 제자리걸음 같아도, 내 뇌 속에선 매일매일 새로운 길을 내는 공사 중입니다... 우리가 의식적으로라도 좋은 걸 보고 긍정적인 행동을 계속 반복해야만 하는 이유.
