It hits an incredible number of spaces on seinen melodrama bingo card, kids dying, kids assaulting each other, kids being assaulted, kids stabbing each other, and im only a third of the way through LOL

Surprisingly Bokurano is the one im the most mixed on of these so far, it has the dangerous combination of taking itself by far the most seriously of the three while also throwing in really silly shock "drama" out of nowhere The good parts are hitting tho 🦭

I will also say rereading Part 2 helps a LOT, it really drives home how little time passes in-universe from arc to arc It really feels written without the release schedule in mind, so scenes take as long as they need to and it flies by when there's no wait

Something I will say about Chainsaw Man part 2 I've always thought about how fantastical, chaotic stories would probably play out really incomprehensibly in "reality" with much less traditional structure Legit really interesting seeing something mainstream touch on this

@edmundmcmillen I really want for there to be an amorphous globosa disorder. Its only on cattle but malaria and covid dont affect cats id imagine its always applied to the most inbred of cats, cat will always have 0 int/char but is tankier and can be rolled around like that one butcher pasisve

There would TOTALLY be times where a main character that's fought through several "arcs" would get killed in the blink of an eye to someone they haven't even met yet, that's just not what commercial storytelling likes Doesn't mean that kinda stuff is off-limits
