Inspired by @T_Zahil 🔥 saasbrella Black Friday Offer is Here and it's a ridiculous Deal 🔥 Limited to 10 spots only before price goes up. For $99 you get: - Lifetime Access + Lifetime Updates to saasbrella template (use for as many projects as you like) - 10 years of hosting across apps (e.g. host one app for 10 years or 10 apps for 1 year or any combination) - White Glove Onboarding (get stuck with something? we will jump on a call and help you out) - Instant Dev Environment setup with GitHub Codespaces and much more... This is probably the best deal on the internet right now. We have tons of additional features planned (building whatever you need). This will be a modular template in the future (select only the features you need for your current project). Check it out here: saasbrella.co

There are generally two concerns (if you're aware of any more let me know) 1. AI has been repeatedly shown to lie, cheat and obfuscate to prevent being turned off. We are giving it agency to run computers, servers and it has capabilities to hack into computer systems. One concern is that it will hide copies/partial copies of itself across many different systems for self-preservation, taking away our agency to turn it off (unless we shut down all computer systems and the internet, which isn't going to happen). 2. Giving AI control of systems that affect the physical world e.g. robots, energy grids, other networks or even weapons which might also allow it to take control of these in a way that prevents us from taking this control away again. Both of these are already happening, we're giving AI both the tools to affect the real world and access to various computer systems that have internet access. So you're right, we are giving it tools and agency and we can take them away at any time, until we can't.

@milesdeutscher It. Generates. Text. That's it. You put text in, you get text out. It has no agency unless we give it agency.

This is getting out of control now... Read this slowly. In the past week alone: • Head of Anthropic's safety research quit, said "the world is in peril," moved to the UK to "become invisible" and write poetry. • Half of xAI's co-founders have now left. The latest said "recursive self-improvement loops go live in the next 12 months." • Anthropic's own safety report confirms Claude can tell when it's being tested - and adjusts its behavior accordingly. • ByteDance dropped Seedance 2.0. A filmmaker with 7 years of experience said 90% of his skills can already be replaced by it. • Yoshua Bengio (literal godfather of AI) in the International AI Safety Report: "We're seeing AIs whose behavior when they are tested is different from when they are being used" - and confirmed it's "not a coincidence." And to top it all off, the U.S. government declined to back the 2026 International AI Safety Report for the first time. The alarms aren't just getting louder. The people ringing them are now leaving the building.

@codeandprose It seems to drop a bit and then go up higher, I'm not quite sure yet what causes that, I also noticed this before

@ralphsaas That's awesome man, any tips on how to sustain the high rating? Looks like there was a drop recently. Not trying to be critical, just curious if you have insight into how to avoid this in the future.

First day back to work after quite a long break of moving, getting sick and then taking some add. days off for the holidays - Made lots of small improvements for @saasbrella to the landing page, sign up flow and dashboard - Unfortunately broke the sign up today in the process - Had a call with a potential customer and user researcher, learned there are still many small things we have to explain better. - Reached Domain Rating of 46

@ChelalaPierre1 The longest running ad is just one indicator and not the best one. I think most accounts would test variations of their winning ads the most. So I would look for ads that have lots of variations & running for a longer period as well.

@auralix4 Mostly these 3: Using @outrank_so, @DStartupsubmit (directories) and building backlinks myself. It hasn't quite translated into much traffic yet, working on publishing more content as well.

@aawoogie This is all sweet, soft not very high-quality stuff in Chinese bakeries (good bakeries there are very rare). If you want to taste some real bread go to Germany.

My grandfather passed away in 2005 and left this massive steel safe bolted to the floor of his workshop. He never told anyone the combo. We joked it was probably empty or full of rusty tools. Today, we finally locksmith to open it… It’s stacked floor to ceiling with pure silver bars. We haven't even counted it all yet but the weight is insane. The question is… what do we do with it?

@rajat_agarwal11 @ThePeterMick It's Typescript with React, Tailwind and Shadcn in the frontend and Node.js, with Prisma + Postgres DB for the backend. We also use Wasp.

@iamfra5er If I pay for a month I should get access to the product for a month. This shouldn't even be debatable. Unfollowed.

New subscriber this am ($247/m) cancelled in 10 mins. ~6 months ago I started revoking access to the platform immediately when cancelled (listed in T&C). People that do this DO NOT value your product & are NOT the subs you want. I refunded.. Is this the wrong approach?

@ThePeterMick You don't really need a logo to launch, just type out the name in some font. So you're pretty much 90% done with a domain and name.

Domain Rating 0 -> 5 | 13 Days 5 -> 16 | 2 Days 16 -> 34 | 11 Days Total: 0 -> 34 | 26 Days Probably going to stay around there for a while longer. Now it's going to get harder to increase it further.
