Starting in June, Roblox creators must pay 1,000 Robux for every game they want to publish to all users. Previously, Roblox Plus was required to publish games to users under 16. You won’t have to pay this fee if you're subscribed to Plus for 2 consecutive months. Roblox will refund the Robux publishing fee in full after 3 months if your game is still active and has not received any moderation action. This fee will not apply to existing games that were already published to all ages before this change.

@prz_chojecki I have a question: how do you get these AI to actually try to solve the problems? In the past I have tried, they always refuse and say they are "unsolved".

Today I solved my second open Erdos problem with GPT-5.4 Pro. It's quite a remarkable day, because within the last 24 hours, two other Erdos problems has been solved as well with AI. Still over 500+ to go.

@ramdoys @TheRBXCommunity I don't buy it, the subscription requirement is completely arbitrary and created by roblox, they weren't forced to do that

@nekstoer If you take a look at the lawsuits against Roblox by the states, these were the things the states wanted them to do. I'm not here to defend Roblox, but I also can't say they are doing this simply out of greed

genuinely might be the final straw for me. i love this platform but i feel like the walls are closing in every day. roblox has made it clear they only care about profit and 'their image' over their developers and playerbase. i'm gonna have to do a lot of thinking
Bloxy News@Bloxy_News

Starting May 19, 2026, Roblox will be updating the requirements to make games public to all users (including Roblox Kids and Roblox Select): - Complete an age check - Be ID verified - Have 2-factor authentication setup - Have an active Roblox Plus subscription - Have an account in good standing - Complete a new per-game evaluation process

@GeneracJake @Polymarket You can attempt this same thing: try to take an image of the stars in the sky behind a streetlamp. The stars wont show up on your phone.

No stars are because cameras are not human eyes. Things like the Earth and the Sun are magnitudes brighter than stars. These cameras use short exposures that don't show the dim stars. If they wanted the stars to show, they could take a few seconds to overexpose the image but this is basically impossible with video and only possible if you stayed in the same position with a camera for a long time.

@TimothyDooner @FOXNashville Not wrong. Right. That's why we already approved year-round DST in lieu of the insanity of keeping winter hours year-round. Standard time SUCKS.

They don't use cell phones or GPS because that doesn't exactly work for this. It's like a traffic stop. Red light, green light, etc., but this depends on where the system thinks the train in front is. It'll only turn green if it knows it's far ahead enough, and if you try to go on a red light, it'll stop the train automatically.

@realBurhanAzeem I don’t understand what “signal issues” means, or how they keep breaking, or how it’s not pretty cheaply solvable with modern technology. It’s just about timing train movements right? Do cell phones and GPS not help in 2026?

Stuck on the T. Signaling issues again! I’m going to miss my next meeting and so are hundreds of other people just trying to get where they need to be. This is what happens when we underinvest in transit. We can fix this but more on that later, today I’m just frustrated.

Sunlight is very important for our body and brain. It impacts hormones, cognition, even insulin and our cardiovascular health. Data strongly supports that standard time is better for our health. Moving to permanent daylight savings time is bad policy. Sunrise in the winter in Vancouver is going to be around 9am with this change. Mornings will be darker. That’s bad for health. Good public policy would be to remain on permanent standard time.
