My visit to Sweden was marked by several important outcomes that will add new momentum to India-Sweden relations. From elevating our ties to a Strategic Partnership, launching the Joint Innovation Partnership 2.0 and the India-Sweden Technology and Artificial Intelligence Corridor, to setting an ambitious goal of doubling bilateral trade in the next five years, the discussions were highly productive. This road to Shri Bijli Mahadev in kullu looks the same throughout the year. We recently won an award for great network of roads in Himachal. Every second road in the rural other than Pradhanmantri Gram Sadak Yojna is close to pathetic. #roads #Himachal #Kullu

The Kullu administration turned the area near Nehru Park into a waste dumping site while locals kept protesting against it. People visited @SunderThakurINC (Congress), but nothing ever moved beyond excuses. Last year, locals also approached @KanganaTeam (BJP). She spoke about the issue in the media,and then disappeared from it for more than a year. Different parties, same attitude towards locals. After getting nothing from both elected representatives, locals in Kullu spent their own money, went to NGT Delhi and Himachal High Court Shimla themselves and challenged the issue legally. The NGT has now granted a stay order against the construction of the new MRF site at Nehru Park. This is the reality of waste management in Kullu. Tourists visit Himachal for nature, while leaders from both parties and some babus keep destroying it piece by piece.
