my favorite meta analysis isn't like device theory but more like mancountry ideas of asking what is enjoying a game? how do you enjoy fiction through the lens only a video game can give you? how hard is a boss allowed to be to be challenging yet approachable to a modern audience

I think meta narrative people do engage with the story albeit lacking, but i don't think story enjoyers engage with the meta analysis as much
