I was about to write heading to "sunny" #Malaga for this year's #EAC2003 before quickly realising I was travelling from #Doha, not #Manchester :). Looking forward to a week of excellent science, brilliant food and catching up with friends and colleagues.

Heading from the UK, where we're finally getting sunshine after its dismal July/August, to Málaga for #EAC2023, where the forecast is rain after the earlier heatwaves. The climate change enhanced El Niño clearly hates me.

I wrote this before coffee and didn't realise I accidentally went 20 years back in time! Checked and turned that the 2003 EAC was also in Spain (Madrid) :)
