Most folks—it stands to reason—have no idea whether or not your premise is valid as they aren’t in agriculture. There’s plenty to dislike about Trump and Biden relating to the financial woes in ag…but a president sworn into office just 9 months ago didn’t start a situation that began over two years ago.

Do you believe that, generally speaking, people should face the consequences of their own financial decisions?

I remember a friend once saying, "I would prefer to put my kids in the Wal-Mart of daycare. Big companies understand liability" What are areas of life where you prefer to deal with a BIG company, not an individual business owner? Examples: Landlord, accountant, hotel

Lol a @vrbo host cancelled my mom’s rental the day she was supposed to check in on my WEDDING weekend, and now can’t find her a new place to stay. Another reminder to just book hotels people

@ramit Lol Let's say the Govt. Takes a trillion dollars from these people. How long do you think it'll take the Govt to spend it. Do you think you're getting some? Or people getting the money? If you do, you're quite dumb.

Terrible policy. Stop with the gimmicks: Suspending a gas tax, a one-time billionaire’s tax, these are all temporary distractions from systemic issues like housing affordability. It’s like you’re running for middle-school class president and promising a pizza party
Mayor Matt Mahan@MattMahanSJ

Californians are fed up, and they deserve real relief at the pump. That’s why this week, I released my plan to suspend the gas tax, so working families don’t have to “shop around” for gas they can afford.

When you buy, you'll spend hundreds of thousands of dollars on irrecoverable costs like: - Interest - Transaction fees - Maintenance - Opportunity cost But the real Q to ask: 1. How does the math work out for buying vs renting? 2. What about the non-financial considerations?

@arnieFSU2013 @ramit @katieporterca NYC has a budget of $116B for fiscal year 26. Instead of begging for more every year why would government not make a food faith effort to show they are good stewards of our tax dollars? Automation could occur within months. Savings from layoffs go to programs you support

0% state income tax for California families making under $100,000. That’s thousands of dollars back in your pocket where it belongs. As Governor, I’ll work the issue at both ends—lowering taxes for those who are struggling and raising them on the biggest corporations that can afford to pay.

@ramit There is a type of person who feels powerful when they spend a lot of money on something. I think this drives most of the uber luxury economy.

Some experts say gas prices could go to $7 per gallon. That’s why we need a temporary suspension of our state’s gas taxes, which are the highest in the nation.  California leaders say they care about working families. Let’s make them prove it with a temporary suspension of our gas taxes while gas prices remain so high.

I love this photo. I'm obsessed with the usefulness of things I use EVERY DAY -- specialty coffee beans, beautiful sweaters, great gym gear -- and allergic to overplanning for things that I'd rarely use, like an RV that gets taken camping once/year

@drvolts A few years ago UCLA did a study on room usage. I often think about how useless a porch/dining room is. Why hasn't there been more innovation around how people ACTUALLY use their space in their homes? wsj.com/articles/SB100…
