Sorry, but I need to say this... Whatnot and Rip & Ship platforms are one of the worst things to happen to the Pokémon TCG hobby. They encourage impulsive spending, take product away from genuine collectors & now there are these leaks... In my opinion, no one should be promoting them.

Seeing mixed reports on queues at Smyths, but something we are seeing is that a lot of stores are implementing some variation of a ticket system like this one! Some are just giving you a queue number, others are doing specific product tickets. What do you think of these systems? How is it at your store? Credit to Hobnobbly in our discord for the image!

This is a huge step in the right direction. 👏 From August, Pokémon Center Japan will introduce ID verification for Pokémon TCG purchases, meaning (for the upcoming 30th Celebration set) one order per person, limited to Japanese residents. Now imagine this alongside print-on-demand... that would be the perfect anti-scalping solution. I'd love to see Pokémon Center UK adopt a similar system in the future 🤞
