Every time you switch location to Kenya, it’s the same thing: - random bot pushed hashtags - obvious bot replies - artificially pushed engagement - coordinated political spam You can literally tell when a trend is manufactured. Meanwhile, genuine issues affecting millions of Kenyans struggle to trend unless citizens force them up organically. If trends can be bought, bought, and manipulated this easily, then the platform stops reflecting the people and starts reflecting whoever has the biggest bot network.
