This isn’t slander JD or CY at all. People are upset that CY has a “bad farm” and no position player talent, but let’s not act like JD was amazing. Rangers had no pitching and couldn’t develop it, and hit a couple times on position players. CY has completely flipped the script on pitching and yes he hasn’t gotten any hitters yet but he made significant changes to the offensive coordinators in the minors I believe for the first time since he took over. A number of guys are off to good starts, and the RoughRiders are on a tear in AA. So let’s pump the breaks on saying CY is bad at developing guys because frankly JD didn’t have much success.
