Playing around with custom cel-shading to make my game feel like a playable illustration. still a work in progress, but I'm loving how the environment pops with this stylized, comic-book look. what do you guys think of the heavy black outlines?

Nationalism is the enemy of Globalism. That’s why it’s demonized as “racist”. Fact.

When you stop reading books, you start losing verbal dexterity, depth of thought and imagination. A closed book is a closed mind. Don't EVER stop reading.

Dirt Cheap Banks
Dirt Cheap Banks@dirtcheapbanks·
I have built a spreadsheet. It has 847 rows. Each row is a community bank in the United States with a market cap below $200 million, a price-to-tangible-book ratio under 0.85, a non-performing loan ratio below 0.4%, and a CEO who has been in the role for at least twelve years. I update it every Sunday from 6 AM to 11 AM while my family attends church without me. I have visited the headquarters of nineteen of these banks in person. I have eaten a complimentary lobby cookie at each one. The cookies are how you can tell. A bank with a good cookie is a bank that respects its depositors. A bank with a stale cookie is a bank that will be acquired within 36 months at a 40% premium. I am never wrong about the cookies. The cookies have never lied to me. The cookies are the only thing left that tells the truth.

I have a hunch. in 2 years, most corporate laptops won’t just have work tools… they’ll have an AI quietly watching everything. not “spyware” , no a “copilot” rather reads your docs. sits in your meetings. sees what you open, close, ignore. no one will call it monitoring. but it’ll know

i tried working from a coffee shop today instead of my office & it was impossible to get anything done. i was constantly distracted by one thing or another, from sounds to ppl moving around etc. it’s unclear to me how anyone is able to be productive working from a coffee shop.

Europe is a vassal of the American Empire. Sure we don’t tax it or levy troops from it. Sure it imports more from China than from us. Sure it created its own currency to bypass ours. Sure it won’t let our military use its airspace. But Europe is a vassal of the American Empire.

@ranjSingh99 spent 20 years in advertising. the best ideas always came in the shower or on a walk, never at the desk. now I use AI for the execution and spend more time thinking than I have in years. paradoxically the tool that does the thinking gave me back the space to actually think.

the most creative periods in history happened before entertainment was infinite. BOREDOM isn't empty space, it's when the brain makes its most novel connections. smartphones eliminated boredom, now we're outsourcing thinking to AI too. when's the last time you had an original thought that wasn't prompted by something?

Every successful person's advice is contaminated by the fact that they survived. the thousands who took the same risks and failed aren't writing books. so all of it, every memoir, every ted talk, every thread, is statistically biased toward whatever happened to work for that one person. The entire advice industry is survivorship bias dressed up as wisdom.

Google is also working on a new internal ai tool called „agent smith“. It seems very popular within the company. So we are waiting for - OpenAI „spud“ (few weeks) - Claude Mythos (Q3/2026) - Googles Agent Smith (later this year)

I know these are all unreliable leaks of internal code names but please, please AI labs, the only thing worse than calling your models GPT-5.5-xhigh-Codex-nano is giving them names like Agent Smith or Mythos, for obvious reasons.
