We are thrilled to announce the launch of a $4M Venture Fund led by @Kheireddine_K to accelerate blockchain innovation in Africa. Africa is arguably the continent that needs blockchain innovation the most, as it faces some of the biggest financial challenges: high transaction fees, broken financial systems, exclusion from the global digital economy, high inflation, rapid currency depreciation against the Euro & the Dollar, and more. Blockchain’s core purpose should be to solve real-world problems, and that’s exactly why we are building Starknet. Now, we’re going bigger to empower African entrepreneurs and builders with everything they need to create blockchain-based startups in Africa. This includes: ✅ Financial support: Grants up to $150,000 with larger investments available to more advanced teams (generally up to $500,000) ✅ Ultra-efficient infrastructure tailored to all their needs: Whether directly on Starknet or as Starknet appchains/L3s ✅ Mentorship & technical expertise to help them succeed This fund will be led by @Kheireddine_K, a seasoned African entrepreneur and investor, with a wealth of experience in the tech ecosystem.
