@wrotagonist harsh punishment is deserved only if exam are being held on a gaokao level, where everyone does their best to make sure candidate gets to take the exam properly.
How many parents protested against NTA for paper leek when they are the one to suggest these exams to their children.
English

@wrotagonist no one is supporting late arriving students but u need to understand that for some reason being late or doing minor offences are more punishing than doing major crimes (in education) like allocating centers too far, traffic, sometimes even wrong centers.
English

@sopocodes @rdbuilds7 true i am writing a public Q&A platform, it is still in v1, missing many features but has more than 3k LOC
English

@rarestpreet @rdbuilds7 Sure, that's a fair point. What I meant was you can't expect to build a product with 1000 lines of code. Because 1000 lines could be just a header or a similar element
English

@Anviksha_ girl your forgot to mention citizens who dont seem to remember they were supposed to ask questions.
English

@sopocodes @rdbuilds7 when u are experienced. If it is your first project where u actually build around real-world edge cases, thinking how data would flow it takes time to think. Whenever I have to write business logic it usually takes me a day of thinking and coding simultaneously.
English

@fariraijames @rdbuilds7 helps only when u get interactions, my previous post got <10 views, how am i getting any help with that.
English

@aShubhamz in past few weeks i have seen the resume of many who were selected for oracle and trust me their projects or work were not that great but they had the IIT advantage, in my college many are building project and open source contri for 3-4 years to get internships.
English

@aShubhamz I dont agree with "last IIts were..." point. This is not a college problem it is mentality problem, once u enter IIT or such institute everyone behaves like u deserve everything good food (they are served better), no attendance criteria, good placement, respect, etc.
English

JEE is the toughest exam in the World.
And students only get admission when they score 98%ile.
Good students get good colleges and become even better,
Students who didn’t perform good, get into loser college and they get even worse.
Quality education should be available without such a high barrier.
This is a system failure.
You as a nation can’t even provide good colleges to your top 10 percent students.
Government should shutdown majority of colleges, and encourage more IIT level institutions.
The last IITs were established in 2016, 10 years ago.
We need more decent universities
English

@version0chiro I blame the mindset for it, since the popularity of AI rose every recruiter and companies wants candidates to be good in multiple domain and work with number of diff languages and frameworks.
So everyone is focusing on going broad over going deep resulting in poor fundamentals.
English

Guys, resume review please.

Suggest keyword changes, any additions and such. Focusing on backend related roles (prefer java/spring boot).
Also drop some resources and related questions to prepare for interviews.

@veer_adyani @hridaykadam will try it when searching for position in startup
English

@rarestpreet @hridaykadam They do and ik it’s super difficult. What I usually do is integrate their product into a project i have if possible and then tell them about it, it also works nicely
English

how to get AI/startup jobs (real fast)
the exact playbook ↓
step 1: most people don’t know where to find real jobs
here is a list: (in comments)
(step 2 is where most people fail)
applying is slow
cold DMs win
→ find startups on X / product hunt
→ find founders
→ DM them directly
don’t say “i need a job”
say this instead:
“noticed X problem
i built Y
can fix this for you, want a quick demo?”
short clear gets replies
step 3: proof of work > resume
→ build small AI tools
→ ship fast
→ post everything
your profile = your resume
step 4: volume + patience
10 DMs/day
= 300/month
you will get replies
real cheat code:
don’t act like an applicant
act like a builder
that’s who startups hire EVERYTIME
English

@veer_adyani @hridaykadam yes but everyone does suggest to do this for cold mail or to approach a startup
English

@rarestpreet @hridaykadam I think it’s in a generalised meaning not customised for each application
English

Ever since I started teaching I have been telling my students to do anything but grinding for government service or academia.
It is a sheer waste, being shut in a room for 6-7 hours a day for highly competitive & increasingly unreliable exams
Courage@cowardlypupp
Competitive exam aspirants have a kind of sadness in their face which you will find nowhere
English

@amitavroy7 @itsManghwani what i dont like is expecting prod level knowledge from fresher and even interns, handle 10K request, microservice project, etc
Now I can learn about these in few months but unless it is applied in real project it is worthless and thats what intern want, to work on real product
English

@rarestpreet @itsManghwani Yeah, I do agree with you. The most difficult phase is going to be for those who are new. Yes, even I faced issue with the first job. But now the difficulty is much higher.
Knowledge of solid engineering is becoming the key factor.
English

@kushika_twt You are right, but still men are seen above women. Say what, let's blame our maker (God) for it. Maybe ask it why it didn't create two human equal with same bodies.
English

Building for job/internship but learning to enjoy it.
My situation right now:
"I am in hell, looking for heaven"
Irakli 🚀@TheSpacerr
be honest. are you building because you enjoy it or just for the money? For me it's both.
English

@kisszyface well but if he has female friend, there is a higher chance for cheating too since he is good with girl and might try to approach other even on small argument or disagreement (have known someone who does that)
