Gorani a raison : c’est l’économie qui va dicter l’avenir de la Syrie, comme c’est en grande partie l’économie qui a fait chuter Assad. Mais pour que la Syrie reprenne vie, il aurait fallu lancer un véritable processus de réconciliation nationale après plus de 14 ans de guerre menée par Assad contre les Syriens.
Les pogroms contre les alaouites et les druzes n’ont fait qu’accentuer les divisions, et le nouveau régime est incapable de sortir de la crise profonde dans laquelle il s’est lui-même enfermé. Pour cela, il faudrait un véritable processus judiciaire, une commission vérité… Mais Charaa refuse de compromettre ses proches, responsables de ces crimes.
Sans stabilité sociale ni environnement judiciaire rassurant, l’économie ne peut pas redémarrer, et les pharaoniques projets d’investissement déjà annoncés — dont pratiquement aucun ne s’est concrétisé — ne verront jamais le jour.

Since the brutal massacres and attempted extermination carried out against our Druze sisters and brothers in Syria by Islamist forces of evil, the entire Israeli Druze community has mobilized for their sake. We will not remain silent, nor will we refrain from any means necessary to ensure their safety and support them. This is a sacred duty that lies at the very core of our Druze identity and existence.

After Druze students from Suwayda were forced to leave Syrian universities due to public threats by jihadists of the de facto terrorist authority in Damascus and their supporters, this same authority now forces them to take exams only in Damascus or its countryside, where its jihadists and ISIS fighters are present, especially after last year’s massacres against Druze and Christians.
Meanwhile, students from other provinces are allowed to take exams in their own regions, reflecting ongoing sectarian discrimination against Druze.
In response, students and their families organized a silent march to bring their voices to international humanitarian organizations.

🇺🇸 BREAKING: US Commission (USCIRF) calls for sanctions on Syrian entities & urges designating Syria as a "Country of Particular Concern" following a severe deterioration in religious freedoms.
The report accuses interim authorities of failing to protect minorities.
The Findings: USCIRF highlights sectarian massacres, kidnappings, and extrajudicial killings targeting Alawites, Druze, and Christians.
Citing UN & Amnesty International probes, the report directly links these abuses to forces and armed groups tied to the new interim government.
Proposed Penalties:The Commission is calling for: • Targeted sanctions • Asset freezes • US entry bans on complicit governmental & non-governmental entities.
The report warns that current constitutional protections remain dangerously insufficient to guarantee safety.

لجنة أمريكية تدعو لفرض عقوبات على جهات سوريّة اتهمت لجنة الولايات المتحدة للحريات الدينية الدولية “USCIRF”، السلطات المؤقتة بالفشل في حماية الأقليات الدينية والتسامح مع انتهاكات جسيمة خلال عام 2025، داعية لإدراج سوريا ضمن قائمة “الدول التي تثير قلقاً خاصاً”. وذكرت اللجنة في تقريرها السنوي أن أوضاع الحرية الدينية في سوريا شهدت تدهوراً كبيراً خلال عام 2025، مشيرة إلى المجازر الطائفية التي تعرضت لها الأقليات الدينية في سوريا، ولا سيما العلويين والدروز والمسيحيين، ما تسبب بآلاف الضحايا. اللجنة أكدت أن السلطات المؤقتة في سوريا فشلت في كبح عمليات القتل الجماعي والخطف والانتهاكات التي استهدفت العلويين والدروز والمسيحيين، وأوضحت أن مجموعات مسلحة مرتبطة بالسلطات الجديدة أو موالية لها كانت مسؤولة عن جزء كبير من الانتهاكات. واستندت اللجنة في تقريرها أيضاً إلى التحقيقات التي أجرتها الأمم المتحدة ومنظمة العفو الدولية، التي أكدت الدور المباشر والكبير لقوات السلطة المؤقتة في عمليات قتل خارج نطاق القانون وانتهاكات بحق مدنيين من الأقليات الدينية. كما أوصت اللجنة بفرض عقوبات موجهة وتجميد أصول ومنع دخول الولايات المتحدة بحق جهات سورية سواء كانت حكومية أو غير حكومية، قالت إنها مسؤولة عن انتهاكات للحريات الدينية. التقرير اعتبر أن الإجراءات التي اتخذتها السلطات المؤقتة حدّت بشكل منهجي من حرية الدين أو المعتقد، من بينها تعيين شخصيات عسكرية وأمنية لها سجل في انتهاكات مرتبطة بالحريات الدينية، إضافة إلى تأكيدها أن الإعلان الدستوري غير كافٍ في ضمان حماية الأقليات. #السويداء_برس

History, take note.
During the fourteen years of the Syrian civil war, the number of fighters from Daraa region and its countryside reached around 8,000. They engaged in clashes and battles against the former Syrian army and also against each other due to ideological and tribal disputes, losing about 10% of their fighters without even counting the number of civilian casualties.
In the treacherous attack on Jabal al-Druze (Sweida) in July 2025, Daraa province participated alongside ISIS forces, Al-Jolani’s terrorist factions, and tribal groups with more than 75,000 fighters, spread across a wide front exceeding 90 kilometers in the western and northern countryside of Sweida.
In total, the number of terrorists involved exceeded 500,000, as documented by multiple international and local sources.
Despite everything Sweida had offered in terms of good neighborly relations lifting the siege, providing essential supplies from 2011 to 2019, and sheltering more than 200,000 displaced people from Daraa, this was all shattered by corrupted minds and fallen morals, and betrayal became the defining headline.

Sweida’s Students Future Held Hostage to Al-Julani’s Government Political Decisions.
#Breaking 🇸🇨 Al-Julani’s authorities have refused to allow secondary school final examinations to be held inside Sweida, despite preparations having been completed and agreements reached in recent weeks between educational authorities and the Directorate of Education in Sweida.
According to available information, arrangements had reached an advanced stage, with full readiness from local security and military forces in the mountain of Sweida to secure an educational delegation arriving from Damascus to supervise the examination process. However, a sudden decision was issued rejecting the exams from taking place in Sweida, bringing all procedures to an abrupt halt.
The decision has sparked widespread anger among families and students, especially with the exams approaching and ongoing uncertainty surrounding the fate of thousands of students in Sweida.

Batoul Suleiman Aloush, born in 2005, is an Alawite student at the Technical Medical Institute of Tishreen University in Latakia, Syria, She disappeared in late April 2026 (around April 29) after leaving her university accommodation in Latakia. Her family lost contact with her for several hours, after which they issued public appeals via video messages, stating that she had been kidnapped.
Days later, Batoul appeared in a recorded video wearing Islamic dress and hijab. In the video, she stated that she had left home of her own free will, describing her departure as “migration for the sake of God.” She firmly denied any kidnapping and explained that she had faced personal pressures that prompted her decision.
Her family, including her father Suleiman Aloush and her mother, rejected this account. They insisted that Batoul was speaking under duress or coercion, emphasizing that she had always enjoyed religious freedom within the family home without any issues. Her mother released videos highlighting threats and pressure the family had received, maintaining that their daughter was being held against her will and describing her as a “captive.” The family pointed out that the video appeared to have been filmed in Jableh in the presence of other individuals and continued to demand her return.
The authorities became involved, and the father was allowed to meet his daughter under the supervision of security forces in Jableh. Following the meeting, he released a video stating that she was not kidnapped, was in good health, and affirming the principle of freedom of belief. However, the family later maintained that these statements were made under pressure and they are continuing to demand their daughter’s return while appealing to all concerned parties.

خلال فعالية أُقيمت في الكونغرس بشأن المجازر التي تعرّض لها الدروز في مدينة ومحافظة السويداء جنوب سوريا في تموز/يوليو 2025. وقد تعرّضت الطائفة الدرزية لمجازر منهجية ارتكبتها جماعات جهادية ضد المدنيين، إلى أن أوقفت الضربات الجوية الإسرائيلية هذا الهجوم الخاطف.
ويخضع الدروز في جنوب سوريا حالياً لحماية إسرائيلية إلى حين تطبيق عملية تقرير المصير.
ومن المقرر إقامة فعاليات في واشنطن ومدن أخرى حول العالم خلال شهر تموز/يوليو المقبل، بمشاركة مشرّعين ومنظمات غير حكومية ووسائل إعلام.

Al-Jolani’s Interior Ministry has honored three criminals who carried out massacres against Druze and Christian civilians in Sweida under orders from the same authorities.
The individuals marked in the photo are involved in horrific crimes: one participated in throwing civilians from balconies, another carried out slaughter in the name of Islam, and the third set fire to a house while a family was still inside.

לפתוח מעבר הומניטארי מיידי למעבר של סחורות ועובדים דרוזים מסווידא לישראל.
אנחנו דורשים גינוי מיידי של התקיפות הירדניות בסווידא.

Massacres by jihadist forces (MoD, MoI and Bedouin tribes) under Abu Mohammed Al-Julani during the terrorist attack on Sweida :
Martyr Joudi Omar Zughayba, 15, was killed on July 16, 2025.
Displaced from her home, she was traveling with women and children under the protection of Judge Shadi Murshid when they were ambushed in central Suwayda by militias linked to the General Security and Ministry of Defense of the Jolani-led de facto authority.
The judge managed to get the women and children to safety. His son was lightly injured. Joudi did not survive.
