@JoceMcCauley @Timheming Yeh good point - maybe something stricter about they get dq if they don’t drop back 50m from the women’s group? As mainly an issue when they end up in the middle or at the front of some of the women helping pull them along or bridge gaps

@Rastle50 @Timheming Yes! The back of the pro field has affected the front of women’s racing many many times but also hard because even I have finished in the top 10 in a men’s pro field at a race.

Being told that some of the best long distance triathletes in the world are unable to get on to start-lists for major Ironman races (ie. Ironman Texas) because the pro field is full. This is despite the athletes applying ahead of deadline.
