It seems fitting that Tom Cruise would make it a necessity to get you in the movie theatres, and for those wanting to see exclusive footage of #Digger, that’s exactly where you’ll have to be! theaureview.com/watch/new-film…

#Forge (@utopiamovies) is less a glossy crime thriller and more a melancholy character study about people trying to counterfeit a version of success they were never invited into. Opening in LA this week, my review online at @theAUreview. theaureview.com/watch/film-rev…

@effoff1988 It’ll be a travesty if Gemma Chan isn’t an ultimate mainstay across the next award season. She’s magnificent in JOSEPHINE.

Guy Ritchie is aware of how beautiful Henry Cavill, Jake Gyllenhaal and Eiza Gonzalez are so he utilises their aesthetics to effect in #InTheGrey, a wordy actioner that delights in homoeroticism and cheek. Not top tier Ritchie, but enjoyable all the same.

#Backrooms is a dread-soaked horror/drama that leans hard into its lore. The opening 7 minutes set an eerie, unnerving tone, while the final 40 are bound to spark debate. Packed with unsettling imagery, genuine scares, and a haunting final shot - genre fans should devour!

#BeetlejuiceTheMusical is coming to Brisbane this June. To coincide with the Australian production I had the pleasure of speaking to star Karis Oka about stepping into Winona Ryder’s shoes (so to speak) and navigating the show’s emotional whiplash. theaureview.com/arts/interview…

#MotherMary ultimately plays like a gorgeous nervous breakdown: ambitious, self-indulgent, frustrating, occasionally intoxicating, and far more interesting to think about afterwards than it is to actually sit through. My review: theaureview.com/watch/film-rev…

Yeah, I’m invested in #OffCampus. It’s melodramatic, oversexed, occasionally shallow, and engineered for viral obsession, but it reveals a surprisingly effective understanding of loneliness, intimacy, and the desperate desire to feel chosen by someone. theaureview.com/watch/prime-vi…

I look back at being offered “a little horror movie” to review at TIFF last year to chat to its director. That movie? #Obsession. I’m so happy that everyone else will now get to experience it. My review from last year’s Toronto International Film Festival. cinefied.com/post/obsession…
