In Titanic (1997), the iceberg that the R.M.S. Titanic hits actually fits the physical description made by a survivor on board, Joseph Scarrott. "Well, it struck me at the time that it resembled the Rock of Gibraltar looking at it from Europa Point." Such an iceberg was photographed near the site.

@EliteClubS0B To all the Triple H apologists trolling Maven in the replies, watch the reaction when he pins Undertaker to win the Hardcore Title and then tell me he was "never over"

Former WWE star Maven revealed why he hates Triple H, claiming that Triple H repeatedly used backstage politics to hold back his push in WWE.
"Every time my name was brought up in production meetings, it was quickly squashed. And who was the one doing the squashing? None other than Triple H. It's hard to get a push when someone is constantly pulling you back, especially when that person has Vince McMahon's ear."

Why does every Cody Rhodes feud seem to follow the same formula?
It always ends with some variation of "I was robbed by the ref" or "I got screwed by management."
First it was Kevin Owens, then Drew McIntyre, and now GUNTHER.
It's becoming way too repetitive atp.

@OTD_in_WWE They could've waited a few months & start the WCW Invasion with Hogan/Hall/Nash & Bischoff and then Goldberg coming in at last to top it off. That would've made WCW look "on-par" with WWF. It could've been the greatest angle in history but of course WWF/E only wanted to bury WCW.

Hugh Morrus invades the WWF, with sirens and moonsaults
When you think of the big WCW names, you immediately think of General Rection - a sign that the Invasion may not be as fans had hoped...

@ScienceExpand The one thing I never wish to go back to...is the era of CDs and DVDs....they were always a gamble, some worked, some didn't...you had to always worry about scratches etc. Anyone who is nostalgic about CDs and DVDs is a moron, period.
Never forget when Sid Vicious was accompanied to the ring by his real-life neighbor turned coach for the night, Seth, who has Down's Syndrome
Seth even cuts a backstage promo
He was a tremendous human. Very humble guy outside the ring ❤️🥹
The Undertaker shoots on his match with Bill Goldberg from WWE Super Showdown in 2019:
“I should have picked up on the fact that he had his bell rung, and then [he] rung it again when he hit the post. I should have been sharp enough to adapt at that point and not try to get to where I was getting.”
“It was a scary match to be in… When you have long periods of time where you don’t work. Man, you lose that sharpness, the mental quickness to figure out things. That was something that I always really prided myself on; if something happened — knowing what to do. It was nobody’s fault. Just what happened, happened.”

@GOTTHEJUICE843@WrestleCourt He was the secondary champion and was made to drop the title to Mysterio who then had one of the worst title reigns of all time, while Angle was sent to the third rate brand (ECW). Angle hated that run (he said it on.his TNA documentary). You stop yapping.
In 1836, a sewer worker discovered an old drainage tunnel that led directly into the gold vault of the Bank of England. Rather than taking advantage of it, he informed the bank’s directors and arranged to meet them inside the vault at a time of their choosing. To their astonishment, he emerged straight up through the floor to greet them.
@WSBFun And then WWF booked it to suck on purpose because they don't want wrestling to be fun. Just bought WCW to bury it further. Good thing karma is hitting them now with this TKO deal and it ruining the company like AOL/Time Warner did to WCW

Lance Storm literally kicks off the WCW Invasion angle by storming the ring at Raw.
That pop is glorious.
The possibilities for what could happen with the WCW takeover felt endlessly exciting.
The Undertaker reveals how he feels about Dave Batista following the 2024 U.S. Presidential election:
“So that it’s perfectly clear, I don’t have any angst towards Dave Batista. I haven’t seen him, but he’s still a good friend of mine and somebody that, if I saw him, when I would give him a big hug. Mick Foley, too. I mean, I don’t care what your politics are – you’re wrong, everybody knows it – but I still love you and I’m just going to say hello and I’m going to give you a hug whether you want it or not, when I see you. So I think people, if they would adopt that a little bit more and not get so much vitriol and so much hate over politics – it’s just ridiculous.”
