@Stopthetweak69 @NYR1579 @ProFootballTalk Good Lord, my man, switch to decaf I think it's pretty obvious that holding call was a make-up for the missed facemask on Ramsey. You know, the massive game-changing non-call exactly zero people talk about? You come off as a casual TBH

The Rams have withdrawn their rule proposals arising from the nutty two-point conversion in Seattle, but they're still salty about the outcome of the play. nbcsports.com/nfl/profootbal…

@NYR1579 @Stopthetweak69 @ProFootballTalk Holy crap man, you really triggered this Michael Powers guy and you're not even really trying to. I see one reasonable person in this conversation.. The Seahawks deserved to beat the Rams, and I'm happy the Seahawks beat the trash Patriots.

@Stopthetweak69 @ProFootballTalk They got the call right. If it was the other way around I'd still be uncomfortable with the process. But go ahead with your fandom and ignore the point being made

@tbailey1976 @TTolman @ProFootballTalk I know I also replied to your other post, but what the Rams really wanted out of this is some kind of standard for how replay gets applied. That used to be the case, when it was first installed (who remembers 90 seconds?). The Seahawks deserved to win this game.

Own what, Tom? That the Rams HC and GM are big babies who are pissed the refs made the correct call? For years I’ve seen fans rightly complain about the refs missing calls or that a play is not being reviewable, but when the refs take the time to get the call correct as per the NFL rule book, Rams brass and their fans wanna complain. Makes no sense.

The Rams had made multiple proposals as a result of the crazy two-point play from the Week 16 game in Seattle. Those proposals have now been withdrawn. nbcsports.com/nfl/profootbal…

@tbailey1976 @ProFootballTalk I'm a Rams fan. It's not something they normally do; there's a list of grievances they could pursue if they wanted. They don't bc they have no media allies to help push If only we were the Saints and could cry for years and everyone hug us and say it's OK .. actually no thanks

@vilujidiot @ProFootballTalk You're not wrong! Besides being a really good team, the Seahawks have been the beneficiaries of some insanely lucky plays / bounces. It will definitely make you crazy watching them

@domthepatsfan Oh, okay, sure .. whatever. So the moment Drake Maye became air-quotes Drake Maye was throwing a fluke TD pass and then losing to a garbage team This is called "try-hard"

@ProFootballTalk @NYR1579 And also, Mike is happy with this particular outcome, so he said it once, and that's it If he were unhappy it'd be like Ideal Gas Law all over again, but we all know that

@NYR1579 We've questioned it in the past. The Rams haven't specifically complained about that aspect of it.

@ProFootballTalk It's not in the Rams nature to cry endlessly about these types of things, like the Saints do - they know they have few allies in the media (right Mike?) to help push They wanted to get the NFL quit making up administrative decisions as they go and they wanted this on record

@JJM805 @kdemoff You're technically correct and Seattle deserved to win this game. The Rams gripe is with how inappropriately handled this decision / review process was The NFL tends to make up administrative decisions as they go , and the Rams were trying to establish some standards

@kdemoff He picked up a backwards pass that was picked up in the endzone. No advancement. The play was legit. It's why the Rams reversed course and removed their request.

@kdemoff Someone needs to start a YouTube channel called "Things You Only See in Rams Games," and this clip is roughly the 30th chapter if you start from 2000

@TheGistGiant @ProFootballTalk What distinguishes a pick between now and 2040 and one after 2040 as one they "have" vs. "don't have." This also sort of loses its edge when you consider this strategy led to, you know, a Super Bowl championship Cute take though.. you're ready for ESPN!

@ProFootballTalk They’ve already traded every pick until 2040, now they want to trade the ones they don’t even have yet.

@ProFootballTalk This is as good a place as any to put this. 5 years ago today the Rams executed the trade for Matthew Stafford Mike remember when you openly begged the Ford family to veto this trade? Good times, keep on hatin'

@TitleTalkTCL Patriots fans on 2/6: Maye was robbed, he should have won the MVP! Patriots fans on 2/9: Well, we have to keep the expectations grounded blah blah Some of these were from the SAME PEOPLE This is to say you are bad fans, hope that helps

Clearly Maye was not good enough all postseason and obviously the SB. No denying it. I'm saying he does have it in him, but he needs to find it consistently. Don't think that's an unfair take

@ProFootballTalk Kind of a missed opportunity to talk up St. Louis and crap on the Rams, but I'm sure you'll get there eventually .. .. unless the therapy really IS working! Hang in there!

@ProFootballTalk St. Louis is also the 5th largest U.S. TV market without an NFL team: 🏈 📺 🤔 1. Orlando (#15 overall) 2. Sacramento (#20 overall) 3. Portland (#21 overall) 4. Raleigh-Durham (#22 overall) 5. St. Louis (#24 overall)
