You are only a man @realDonaldTrump , and someday you will stand before our Lord Jesus Christ. You claim our Holy Father @Pontifex is weak, but it takes more strength to do what one should rather than simply what one wants. You intervened in Venezuela under the pretext of stopping drugs and criminals from entering our country, and under Nicolás Maduro you described the regime in terms of narco-terrorism. My qualm is the name games you play. Do you think you can simply legitimize actions by denoting terminology to suit your interest? This you did. In the same way, you and Benjamin Netanyahu undermine the true meaning of justice through continued acts of unconscionable war crimes, all in the name of “self-defense.” But with the Lord, there will be no altering of words and their meaning; all that will be left is the truth of what really happened. You call the Holy Father weak because he calls for peace? What is weak is bombing children in Gaza in the name of national interest. What is weak is saying this is God’s country, yet by your actions you act as an enemy of the cross. It is a shame that, in many respects, the COVID situation could have been handled better by the Church, but do you not consider the blunder of Operation Warp Speed? To this day, questions and debates about the long-term effects of the vaccines remain, and this was under your authority, so pluck the splinter out of your own eye. Inspired by Christian charity, I implore you, repent. We are Christ first, not MAGA first. Our first allegiance is to God and His Kingdom. Are you God first or MAGA first? If God first, why do some of your actions betray that truth? If you come after the Church and the Holy Father @Pontifex_de, don’t think I’ll be silent. I only fear God.

@BishopBarron Likewise the pope should be extremely careful on his comments as well… He was way more disrespectful and naive on his “political” comments. Bad for him and for the catholic church

The statements made by President Trump on Truth Social regarding the Pope were entirely inappropriate and disrespectful. They don’t contribute at all to a constructive conversation. It is the Pope’s prerogative to articulate Catholic doctrine and the principles that govern the moral life. In regard to the concrete application of those principles, people of good will can and do disagree. I would warmly recommend that serious Catholics within the Trump administration–Secretary Rubio, Vice President Vance, Ambassador Brian Burch, and others–might meet with Vatican officials so that a real dialogue can take place. This is far preferable to the statements on social media. I am very grateful for the many ways that the Trump administration has reached out to Catholics and other people of faith. It has been a high honor to serve on the Religious Liberty Commission. No President in my lifetime has shown a greater dedication to defending our first liberty. All that said, I think the President owes the Pope an apology.

Those who pray are aware of their own limitations; they do not kill or threaten with death. Instead, death enslaves those who have turned their backs on the living God, turning themselves and their own power into a mute, blind and deaf idol (Ps 115:4–8), to which they sacrifice every value, demanding that the whole world bend its knee. Enough of the idolatry of self and money! Enough of the display of power! Enough of war! True strength is shown in serving life. #Peace

@UcheMaryOkoli Don’t you also have to go to the Divine Mercy Service on Sunday? It’s a different service from the mass. That is my understanding.

I told you guys yesterday that something big🤯🤯 is happening tomorrow in the Catholic Church! Big!!! You have today to go to confession and receive Jesus in the Eucharist. Divine Mercy Sunday is tomorrow 🙏 🎊 🎉 🎊 💃 💃 📹 sweetcatholiclife
Uche is a girl@UcheMaryOkoli

Day 9 🎊 🎉 (last day) Jesus said: "Today bring to me souls who have become lukewarm and immerse them in the abyss of my mercy. These souls wound my Heart most painfully. My soul suffered the most dreadful loathing in the Garden of Olives because of lukewarm souls. They were the reason I cried out: "Father, take this cup away from me, if it be Your will". For them the last hope of salvation is to run to my mercy." Novena prayer. Most Compassionate Jesus, You are Compassion Itself. I bring lukewarm souls into the abode of Your Most Compassionate Heart. In this fire of Your Pure Love let these tepid souls, who, like corpses, filled You with such deep loathing, be once again set aflame. O Most Compassionate Jesus, exercise the omnipotence of Your Mercy and draw them into the very ardour of Your Love; and bestow upon them the gift of Holy Love, for nothing is beyond Your power. Eternal Father, turn Your merciful gaze upon lukewarm souls who are nonetheless enfolded in the Most Compassionate Heart of Jesus. Father of Mercy, I beg You by the bitter passion of Your Son and by His three-hour agony on the Cross, let them too, glorify the Abyss of Your Mercy. Amen Then pray the Chaplet of Divine Mercy. Drop ❤️ or "amen" if you're praying the Divine Mercy with us. Share this as well so others can join us on this wonderful novena. (The first frame is the guide for those who can't pray the Chaplet of Divine Mercy). St. Maria Faustina, pray for us. As we have come to the end of the Divine Mercy novena, may God's mercies speak for us and our entire household!! Amen.

Absurd and inhuman violence is spreading ferociously through the sacred places of the Christian East, profaned by the blasphemy of war and the brutality of business, with no regard for people’s lives, which are considered at most collateral damage of self-interest. But no gain can be worth the life of the weakest, children, or families. No cause can justify the shedding of innocent blood.

All the women that have become popular in the conservative movement have incredibly abrasive personalities. They have nannies watching their kids while they’re lecturing people. It’s feminism and their families would be better off if they left the public eye and stayed home.

Friends, yesterday, I had the opportunity to offer a prayer at an Easter lunch hosted by the White House. What follows is the text of that invocaton: Heavenly Father, almighty and eternal God, provident Lord of history, we come before you today in an attitude of humble gratitude. We are thankful, Lord, for this opportunity to be together in fellowship, for the faith that unites us, and for the blessings of liberty that we enjoy as Americans. But we are grateful, above all, on this holiest week of the year, for the gift of your Son Jesus Christ, who is God from God, light from light, true God from true God; who is the Yes to all the promises made to Israel; who is the Lamb standing as though slain; who is the Alpha and the Omega; who is the Lion of Judah; who is the desire of the everlasting hills; and who is the Word made flesh. Father, you so loved the world that you sent your only Son that all who believe in him might not perish but might have eternal life. On Good Friday, you sent him indeed to the very limits of godforsakenness that he might gather back to you even those who had wandered furthest away. On the cross, he took upon himself the sins of the world—injustice, cruelty, hatred, violence, betrayal, and denial—that he might swallow them up in the ever-greater divine mercy. On Easter Sunday, Father, you raised him from death, showing your victory over all of the powers of darkness. Having met the risen Jesus, St. Paul could therefore say, “I am certain that neither death nor life, neither angels nor principalities, neither height nor depth, nor any other creature could separate us from the love of God.” We bless you, Father, for you have given us the privilege of declaring the kingship of Christ to the world and calling all people to be subject to him. And so, Lord, conform us to Christ your Son. Clothe us, we pray, with his compassion, his meekness, his love for the poor. Father, we ask you to bless our country. Make us prosperous and safe, but above all, make us morally upright and order our freedom toward your truth. Bless our troops, especially those who are most directly in harm’s way. Protect them and make them righteous warriors. And finally, Father, bless our President. Give him the grace, the courage, the wisdom, and the prudence he needs to perform his duties according to your will. We say, with gratitude, that we are a nation under God. We acknowledge that in you we live and move and have our being. We know that our freedom and rights come from you. Continue, Lord, to shed your grace on us and to hold us in the palm of your hand. We pray through Christ our Lord. Amen.

You demeaned yourself and stained the holy office you hold by participating in that exercise in blasphemy, looking on approvingly as a grifting con-artist hailed Trump as Christ-like. In Holy Week! I pray you spend the Triduum reflecting on this infamy and how you can atone.

Grateful to have been invited to the White House this afternoon for a luncheon with religious leaders, where I offered an Easter prayer. Even in the halls of power, the hope of the Resurrection is proclaimed.

@RealCandaceO @TaylorRMarshall This is why new Catholics are not to be trusted. I’ll take a trained theologian with years of knowledge, even if I might disagree with him from time to time, over someone like you with your silly whataboutisms. You are not out-Catholicing Bishop Baron.

Today is Holy Thursday, the day the Passion of the Christ begins. After washing the feet of His disciples and offering His own Body and Blood at the Last Supper, Christ retreats to the Garden of Gethsemane. He knows exactly what is coming. The scourging, the thorns, the agonizing weight of the cross. The burden of every sin in human history crushes down on Him until He sweats drops of blood into the dirt. Before a single Roman soldier laid a hand on Him, the sheer psychological and spiritual terror of what He was about to absorb crushed Him so violently that His capillaries burst, bleeding through His pores into the soil. Friday was the physical execution, but Thursday night was the ultimate battle of the Will. This is the exact moment He looked into the terrifying abyss, accepted the cup of God's wrath, and said: "Not my will, but Yours be done." He didn't wait to be captured. He fought and won the war in His own soul before the enemy even marched up the mountain. In His darkest hour of dread, He looks to His closest companions for support. He finds them fast asleep. Their comfort won over their loyalty. Shortly after, the heavy silence of the garden is shattered by the arrival of the mob, the glow of torches, the drawing of swords, and the ultimate betrayal sealed with a kiss from a friend. Tonight, the altars are stripped completely bare. The tabernacles are left open and empty. The Church descends into mourning. The modern world continues to trade Him for silver, mock Him for cheap applause, and sleep soundly through the spiritual war. Do not be like the sleeping Apostles. The Passion has begun. Hold the line.
