I’m not having a go at him because he’s just saying what any new manager would say. But I also don’t get this ‘he speaks well’ or ‘he’s convinced me’ chat. What’s he said so far that was so inspirational or groundbreaking?

A word on Peter Leven, who has taken a lot of unnecessary abuse, with some particularly baseless stuff about his coaching work under past managers. He did well 2 years ago in similarly perilous circs, the club rolling that dice again was always a risk. Thanks for stepping up.

Just a thought but maybe Aberdeen fans should give Stephen Robinson a fucking chance? He’s a brilliant manager who will, given just a wee bit of patience, get your club back challenging at the top end of the table and he’ll have every single player running through a brick wall for the badge on the shirt. Don’t believe the pathetic narrative about his style of play either. With the budget Aberdeen have he will get you playing some great stuff, but you MUST allow him a Summer rebuild before judging. Cry all you want today, but you’ll be deleting those tweets in six months time.

Aberdeen FC has this morning been officially given permission to enter formal talks with St Mirren manager Stephen Robinson regarding the vacant managerial position. The Club will provide an update in due course.

Been saying it for my weeks . At the end of the day the buck stops with the chairman . Vent your anger on players or Leven but this is on mismanagement from the top.
