પ્રયોશા જિલ્લા લોક વિજ્ઞાન કેન્દ્ર ડાંગ દ્વારા સમર સાયન્સ કેમ્પ નું આયોજન કરવામાં આવેલ છે, જેમાં વિદ્યાર્થીઓએ વિજ્ઞાન ના સિદ્ધાંતો આધારિત રમકડાં બનાવી વૈજ્ઞાનિક સિદ્ધાંત સમજી રહ્યા છે.

सर रोनाल्ड रॉस रोनाल्ड रॉस मलेरिया के संचरण की विधि की खोज के लिए सबसे अधिक जाने जाते हैं, जिसके लिए उन्हें 1902 में शरीर विज्ञान या चिकित्सा में नोबेल पुरस्कार से सम्मानित किया गया था। जीवाणु विज्ञान में रॉस की रुचि ने उन्हें मलेरिया के कारणों का अध्ययन करने के लिए प्रेरित किया, जो भारत में व्यापक रूप से फैला हुआ रोग था, जहाँ वे रहते थे। उनका यह दृढ़ निश्चय कि यह रोग मच्छरों में पाए जाने वाले एक परजीवी के माध्यम से फैलता है, इस बीमारी के अधिक उन्नत उपचारों और रोकथाम के अधिक प्रभावी उपायों को विकसित करने में सहायक सिद्ध हुआ। अपने नोबेल पुरस्कार और अन्य मानद पुरस्कारों के अलावा, रॉस को 1911 में नाइट की उपाधि से सम्मानित किया गया था। रॉस का जन्म 13 मई, 1857 को नेपाल के अल्मोड़ा में हुआ था। वे भारत में तैनात ब्रिटिश अधिकारी जनरल सर कैंपबेल क्ले ग्रांट रॉस के दस बच्चों में से पहले थे।

Sir Ronald Ross Ronald Ross is best known for his discovery of the method by which malaria is transmitted, research for which he was awarded the 1902 Nobel Prize in physiology or medicine. Ross's interest in bacteriology led him to study the causes of malaria, a disease that was widespread in India where he lived. His determination that the affliction was transmitted through a parasite common to mosquitoes led to more advanced treatments for the condition and more effective means of preventing it. In addition to his Nobel Prize and other honorary awards, Ross was knighted in 1911. Ross was born in Almora, Nepal, on May 13, 1857. He was the first of ten children to be born to General Sir Campbell Claye Grant Ross, a British officer stationed in India.

National Technology Day is a symbol of the country's scientific pride, self-reliance and technological prowess. The day commemorates the historic events of May 11, 1998, when India conducted successful nuclear tests under 'Operation Shakti' and the first flight of the fully indigenous 'Hans-3' aircraft. In honour of these historic achievements, the then Prime Minister Shri Atal Bihari Vajpayee declared May 11 as 'National Technology Day'. Today, this day has become an opportunity to highlight scientific excellence, innovation and the contribution of technology in nation building.

રાષ્ટ્રીય ટેકનોલોજી દિવસ દેશના વૈજ્ઞાનિક ગૌરવ, આત્મનિર્ભરતા અને ટેકનોલોજીકલ ક્ષમતાનું પ્રતિક છે. આ દિવસ ૧૧ મે, ૧૯૯૮ની એ ઐતિહાસિક ઘટનાઓની યાદ અપાવે છે, જ્યારે ભારતે 'ઓપરેશન શક્તિ' હેઠળ સફળ ન્યુક્લિયર પરીક્ષણો કર્યા હતા અને સંપૂર્ણપણે સ્વદેશી બનાવટના 'હંસ-૩' એરક્રાફટ એ તેની પ્રથમ ઉડાન ભરી હતી. આ ઐતિહાસિક સિદ્ધિઓના સન્માનરૂપે તત્કાલીન પ્રધાનમંત્રી શ્રી અટલ બિહારી વાજપેયીએ ૧૧ મેને ‘રાષ્ટ્રીય ટેકનોલોજી દિવસ’ તરીકે જાહેર કર્યો હતો. આજે આ દિવસ વૈજ્ઞાનિક શ્રેષ્ઠતા, નવીનતા અને રાષ્ટ્ર નિર્માણમાં ટેકનોલોજીના યોગદાનને ઉજાગર કરવાનો અવસર બની ગયો છે.
