- Another student loan gets transferred to a new servicer, which means account closed and reopened. Avg account age falls significantly and a new account opens. Now serviced by the company that held my previously paid off student loan.

Pretty well established that credit scores are a scam. But just this year a few things outside of my control or doing what I’d think is the right thing result in significant drops to my score.
