It’s been 15 hours since the heating went out. It’s –10 C outside now and heavily snowing. The shop nearby closed after its generator gave up. People are stocking up on food and water. Can’t imagine how the elderly and those without help nearby are getting through this.

A drone hit the building opposite the one where my granny is right now. I saw a video of my building on Telegram and my heart just stopped. I managed to reach my granny, she’s shaken. It turned out it was the building about 40 meters away. I’ll share more updates later. The attack is not over. It appears the Russians have also launched Kalibr missiles and possibly Kinzhal missiles.

Five people killed by the Russian strikes on Kyiv last night. About half of all residential buildings in Kyiv are without heating. That's millions of people. It is minus 8 degrees in Kyiv today, feels like -15. It will get even colder during the night. Russia is attacking Ukrainian civilian infrastructure to compensate for their international humiliations and feel "imperial greatness". Millions of Ukrainians are cold, with no electricity and water. Elevators are not running, so many people are stuck on top floors of apartment buildings. This is yet another winter of the horrible full-scale war. Ukraine fights on.
