@dybalexa @chiesadinho The players aren’t overhyped imo.. they always had top shelf players playing for the best clubs in the world winning club trophies everywhere. But it just never works at national level. Except for 1988 of course. So they underperform just as a team. Belgium is probably overhyped

Is there a more annoying trend in this WC than Americans, who started watching football 3 weeks ago, telling the rest of the world why it’s broken and how to fix it?

Here's another reason why Americans aren't big into soccer: in a tournament with the magnitude of the World Cup, games should never, ever be decided by penalty kicks. They should just keep playing in 15 minute increments of extra time until there's a winner. War of attrition. These are not some regular season league games.
