It's very difficult for a successful businessman who never follow any ethics in life except for indulging in sense pleasures at all the time to become a good political leader to lead a Nation successfully. #LeadersLike_DonaldTrump

There are 195 sovereign countries in the world (193 UN members + 2 observers). No—similar descent-based or job/taboos-linked discrimination occurs far more widely. Examples: occupational castes in Senegal (neeno), Mali, Mauritania, Burkina Faso, and other West African nations; Somalia/Ethiopia/Kenya (sab or similar groups); Korea's historical Baekjeong; Yap in Micronesia; and diaspora cases. HRW/UN reports note these systems in Africa, Asia, Middle East, and even historical Europe (e.g., Cagots, Romani parallels). South Asia has the largest scale (~250M affected).

Burakumin (Japan): Emerged in feudal Edo period (1603–1867) from people in "impure" jobs like tanning, butchery, executioners—taboo under Shinto/Buddhism. Segregated into hamlets; legally freed 1871 but face ongoing bias in jobs, marriage, housing. Est. 1–3M affected. Osu (Igbo, Nigeria): Ancient system tied to Odinani beliefs—people dedicated to deities as "slaves of gods" for crimes, taboos, or sacrifices. Hereditary outcasts; banned from intermarriage, land ownership. Outlawed 1956, but stigma lingers socially. Al-Akhdam (Yemen): Likely descendants of 6th-century Ethiopian (Abyssinian) invaders or slaves post-defeat. Confined to menial work (sweeping, sanitation); live in slums. Constitution bans discrimination since 1962/1991, yet severe exclusion persists in services, marriage, jobs.

Caste-based violence against SC/ST persists in India despite the 1950 Constitution banning untouchability and guaranteeing equality. NCRB reports 50,000+ atrocities yearly (e.g., 50,291 in one recent year), often linked to economic gaps and weak law enforcement. Similar descent-based systems exist globally: Burakumin in Japan, Osu in Nigeria, Al-Akhdam in Yemen, and in Nepal/Pakistan/Sri Lanka. UN notes 250M affected worldwide. In India, it stems from ancient social hierarchies resisting mobility, despite affirmative action and laws.

According to police reports and Himanshu's brother Bittu, the 22-year-old Dalit labourer was publicly slapped and subjected to casteist slurs by farmer Tinku alias Gaurav after refusing to load flowers on a cart in Gangdhari village on April 17. Bittu told police his brother "felt insulted" by the public humiliation, which triggered extreme distress and prompted the self-immolation captured on CCTV. He sustained ~30% burns; accused arrested under BNS and SC/ST Act. No confirmed updates on death.
