Another Burger update: He is home with us and doing very well in his new Burger Jail. He's not the happiest but he is healing a lot better already, and the faster he heals the faster he gets out. The little man is going to be okay.

@gracieminabox We're all amazed how good he's done. He seemed to be in such bad condition but he really bounced back! He still gets plenty of cuddle time and gentle, supervised play so he won't hurt himself more, but I'm sure he'll be much happier once he's fully healed.

Updating this:
The surgeon called back and the damage is not nearly as bad as the original vet thought. He has been properly sutured up and is going to be monitored for a bit.
It seems like he had a scary bad reaction to some medication, which caused this.

Burger took a sudden turn this morning and was taken to the emergency vet. His leg was swollen and he was unable to walk. He's been rushed to a really good vet an hour away. He's alive, and his demeanor is better, but worst case scenario he loses a leg is the current prognosis.
