Damn, I’m so glad I’m an introvert and avoid parties like the plague after hearing about what happened at a party in Miami. I always have people ask me if I’m going parties, and I always tell them no, unless I’m getting paid. lol.

Last night I went to a “kickback” thinking it was safe enough to have a drink, be around friends, and meet new people. Instead, I ended up 5 feet away from someone getting jumped and a gun getting pulled out. For something like that to happen and for: the party to not immediately get shut down there to be almost 12 hours of zero accountability a traumatic life experience for me to now become “content” for someone else is ridiculous. If safety isn’t the top priority, YOU SHOULD NOT BE THROWING EVENTS.

Whether you go to industry events/ parties it should always be safe for those attending. You aren’t better or safer if you don’t, this is America gun violence is EVERYWHERE. We do however need to be better at vetting people and looking into their co-signs, especially if they popped out of “no where”. It’s not surprising that those who brought certain people in are no longer in the industry.

If our award show is a joke & you feel that way I say it year after year. We challenge & welcome every & anyone to create their own show. I’ll wait… We are a community that spreads love not hate so we refuse to welcome the BS we can’t and won’t please everyone! Thank u kindly
