@Alexmargerson Thanks Alex, but I have been continuously in contact with Meta support Pro ( a misnomer) and they have done nothing except opening cases and then closing them, without resolution . Beyond useless . Am still fighting though…

Couldn’t agree more. And MTV Europe brought the continent together through a shared culture, in a way the politicians have failed to do so ever since. (No rose tinted glasses here, just fond memories of a kinder time)

I'd like to think I am a reasonably effective communicator but one thing that is simply impossible to convey to younger people is how much better things were in the 1990s. 9/11 and the response to it changed the world for the worse in so many ways. You then had the great financial crisis from which many countries, including Britain, have still not recovered. And now there is a war on Europe's doorstep, terrorism is "part and parcel" of our lives and basic things like a house of your own are unaffordable for most people. Of course, things are better in many ways too but I wouldn't trade that peace, high trust environment and financial comfort for all the smartphones in the world.

It took several days to count every ballot in 2020, and it’s very likely we won’t know the outcome tonight either. So please keep a few things in mind as you make your voice heard today:
– Thousands of election workers around the country are working hard today. Respect them. Thank them.
– Don’t share things before checking your sources.
– Let the process run its course. It takes time to count every ballot.
