@DryCedarFarms I showed steers from 84-88. My kids have shown steers since 2005. Down to the last one that has 3 years left. Amazing what you can learn and manage from the process you describe. Always fed as a group till last year when we fed 4 individually. It was eye opening.

When showing livestock Everyone has a different goal I was discussing mine with a friend this evening, and the fact that I split feeds, split rations, use some supplements on one, manage hay intake on another heifer, feed the steers different rations, and stick to a 12 hour schedule, documenting what every calf eats and how much then weigh them every 10 days-2 weeks … 🤯
