@paulg Practice inversion. Avoid the things that could sink you...lack of sleep, let yourself get worked up, rush through the exam...

Something I told 14 yo: Once you've prepared sufficiently for exams, switch your focus to "game management." Get enough sleep, keep calm, watch the time, check your answers to avoid dumb mistakes, etc.

We like to call it knob to nose launch. The feeling of snapping the knob right at your nose. Every swing by Rice is knob to nose. This allows the adjustment you see on this pitch. Incredibly tight radius of the knob. See Mike Trout.

@rayramelli I’m an umpire and the way I see it, the short stop interferes with the runner’s path. The runner is entitled to a clear path and the ball is not hit to the short stop, or to an area where the fielder can make a play. The call is fielder interference and the runner is awarded 3rd.

What’s the call here?
