@LordRemiem @VolSkimmer Yeah back in s1 when the game launched. SF6 is not the game it was. It has been consistently nerfed in speed across the board. They have made it slower than SF2 with its current state.

I'm shocked how many people think ssj4 daima goku looks like a mod. Obviously I'm beyond biased but he has moments (intro, beginning of lvl 3) that to me legit match or surpass the best of the best in fighterz for me personally

It’s worse than I thought… It’s giving me Welcome To Raccoon City vibes. And that’s not just because of 4 Non Blonde’s What’s Up is playing in the trailer. It just makes me realize the guys behind Assassins Fist were the only ones who truly got Street Fighter

@one_big_boss What you described is what's actually happened with this movie. They are fans and aren't tied down by higher ups. You need to let this one go and just go see it and make judgment then. For me it leans into the camp of the games and has lots of fighting with a simple story. WinWin

@raziel_44 It would have worked though, because think about it, when you got the right people involved, and its fans making it and your not being tied down by higher ups who don't know a thing about movies, the assassins fist era would have worked out pretty well

@one_big_boss Way off I think. Tomb Raider and Street Fighter were terrible. MK was great, with Re to a lesser degree. This new SF is on par with the MK and Sonic. Assassins Fist is cool but doesn't work with any other characters than the 3 it had. And it was slow with not much fighting.

Maybe this will help people understand things a bit better. These movies were beloved back during a time where gaming wasn’t popular with everyone and still considered niche. So when films like these hit theaters, some of them did good, others did not. They had a charm to them regardless. But this is 2026, video game movies are somewhat taken more seriously (despite some studios still not getting it) But I think the Sonic Movies are the best example of adapting a franchise and handling it right. The Mario movies….well they are ok, still could be horrible though. All I’m saying is when fans make a film like Street Fighter Assassins Fist and it’s more accurate to the lore and built upon it with their own things, it’s a blueprint on how it should be done. If this new street fighter movie does well, cool. But it just seems to be trying to coast on the 90s SF film and is just memberberries the movie.

@PeteFighter I’m not feeling it at all and peoples defense of it is really lame. Like ok if you like what you see, that’s awesome. But this film set the bar in how a street fighter movie can be done. The perfect blueprint.
