I use ChatGPT/Bing/Bard for self-help a lot. In a way, it's a digitized representation of the collective consciousness, and it's apparently a segment that I find helpful. I wouldn't rely on them much for extensive technical tasks. Too annoying to account for the kinks.

@roninsa I agree, but I think that web development in general has become a heavy lift. There are more moving parts now, more of an app-like expectation for anything but content sites—and sometimes, even those.

@wizonesolutions if I remember right you mentioned doing more work with JavaScript lately. My opinion about Drupal beyond version 7 is that it has become a heavy lift, something that the article points out.

@stuartleeks And to close the loop: it was indeed the OpenSSH version. Downgraded to 8.8p1, and I'm back in business. I noticed that 8.9p1 came out on Feb 23 and that the issue had begun after updating packages the other day (was a bit behind on updates). Will see can update Windows side...

@stuartleeks Follow-up: The issue appears to be in my Arch distro alone. I rigged it up in the Ubuntu distro I had lying around, and it works fine there. So perhaps it is the version of socat or ssh, or a bug in the Arch release of one of these that will be fixed 👍🏼

@stuartleeks Has stuartleeks.com/posts/wsl-ssh-… still been working out for you? I've read of instability with the socat approach, but perhaps your long-form script successfully addresses that? I'm trying it, in any case...in fish! I set the sock separately, then run the rest with 'bash'

@stuartleeks I'm looking at #issuecomment-986732497" target="_blank" rel="nofollow noopener">github.com/jstarks/npiper…, and not hitting quite that, but similar. ssh-add is working fine, but ssh-agent is having some kind of communication error when ssh actually calls the agent over the sock. Have you encountered this?

@artvankilmer @ProcessStreet I think I'm grandfathered or something. I haven't been limited on templates, and I only run a checklist or two at a time. So I haven't hit issues.

I switched from nvm[.]fish to fnm for managing Node versions in Fish. It was to get bobthefish integration to show my current Node version. But fnm also just works better! It comes with automatic switching and such, so I have completely stopped needing to double-check. Love it.

What are some activities for improving visual-spatial intelligence that are difficult to systematize?

@clickup Re. process management, is it possible maintain the link between the originating template and item created from the template? That is, "update active instances" if I realize I forgot something in the template? Or do I have to update both separately manually?

First step was email the CEO account since the email still seems to work. Just wondering what my next step is if they won't help me. Basically, I hadn't bought anything on the account for over a year since moving out of mainland Europe, so they can't verify me! Laughable.

Has anyone gotten their Amazon account (just personal, not seller) locked because the algorithm thought e-gift card purchases were fraud? Account Specialist told me no hope, but I'm not ready to give up. But not sure where I should go. Media? Consumer advocate? Lawyer?
